You can't generalize for the 500k people who bought it. The fact that this game is sold for $30 could be potentially dangerous for this industry, and saying something like vote with your money is just a horrible excuse.

Although I do think this game isn't worth $30, it is fun for what it is, and makes me excited for the Phantom Pain :3

Should we also complain that non-AAA games cost 60,00 dollars as well and are shit?

Or if going by duration a RPG should charge 300,00 since a lot of "full-game" you finish in less than 10 h and you won't ever look at them agaselling The only trend I see in this is a dev charging less because the game is shorter than average, more companies should do it.

I'm sorry but what? This is dangerous to the industry because companies could try to sell their game in sections, example prologue, chapter 1, chapter 2 etc for a ridiculous price. Also to prove how absurd the price of Ground Zeroes is, Dead Rising Case Zero was about $5

we already had games selling in chapters (sonic, walking dead, back to the future). If you ask me 60 for CoD is a rape, but 60 for GT I fell like I'm robbing Yamauchi. But thinking something is overpriced is quite pessoal and depends of your incoming, priorities and taste.

The demo is worth $10.

I agree that thinking something is overpriced is personal. In my opinion charging $30 for a demo that ensures a different game will have good mechanics is just a shitty thing to do as a company and I laugh at that because if it was EA, people would be throwing a bigger shit fit.

edit: more examples, Journey was 90 minutes for $15, A considerable amount of pc games are longer and cheaper, and I can go to a theater and watch something about as long as ground zeroes for half the price.

It's kind of an unfair poll because at this point, mostly the people who were going to get it whether it was worth it or not have got it. On the other hand, most people that thought $30 is too much for so little didn't buy it. That is, there's a lot of people answering to whom it would be worth even more because they love the series so much, on the other hand there's a good chance lots of people with more objective opinions on the matter can't answer because they haven't bought the game yet.

As for myself, I haven't bought it and probably won't in a good while. I understand there's a lot to do besides the main story but it's an MGS game; I play it for the story and everything else is extra. If the story is too short, the game itself is too short. Maybe I'll be proved wrong when I eventually get the game but until then, I see no reason to believe otherwise.

Yes. Best game released this year.

It's clearly worth for more than 500k people who bought not sure why so many haters want to beat it out.

Don't think it is worth? Buy a different game with your money and stop worring about "tendencies".

I whole heartidely disagree.

Their are few if any games that could get away with this.

I believe the price is justified because of the time since the last MSG, not counting rising, and the time till the next official one. Not to mention that it was requested by fans, and uses an entirely new engine.

Gamers just need something to complain about. 4th gen and lower games where hella expensive, people still bought them. Practically any other series that would try this would fail,  and honestly I would prefer this to waiting 7 years for this next game, FFXV was announced in 2006, we aren't even expecting it till 2015, thats eight nine years, I think thats a worse trend, then selling a game for 30 dollars.

If you go into the game with a demo mentality of course you feel like your going to get ripped off, you already decided that it was a rip off before you played the game. When I played it on my friends PS3 I knew it was going to be short, but when I was playing the game I didn't even notice the time, I spent 2 hours on the first mission cause I took my time.

And if it increases the chance that the game won't go into development hell, I hope that this becomes a trend.

MGS PP was announced last year at e3, I got a taste of it in Q1 2014, FFXV was announced in 2006, I've gotten a rebranding, a bunch of trailers, an exclusivity loss, a please be excited, and not so much as a fcking release window. Tell me all about how MGS:GZ is setting a dangerous precedent.

I bought it on PS3, so I think it was worth buying it at $20 and not a cent more. Yes, the PS4 version has mind-blowing graphics and cloud physics, but I think it's not worth $30.
