Its because thier digital sales are strong, especally the 3DS eShop. Grant it, the Wii U digital sales isn't as big as the 3ds, but its something. As easy and cheap it is to by SD cards with memories over 50 GB, its no wonder why the sales are up.

Most of the reason why you don't hear bad stuff about the Horrible Nintendo software is because there is a limit to creating a new post every 60 seconds, sad fact is there simply isn't enough time to pick on specific games when it's easier to use each 60 second window for another doom thread of the company as a whole.

Bullshit. People grew up with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro on the PlayStation, but they're full of criticism for modern iterations of these games. The same with people who grew up with Sonic on the Genesis.

Furthermore, how is saying "this game has poor sales" similar to saying "this game is bad?" Among some groups, poor sales are the sign of something being good. Only a few diehards claim that quality = quantity, and usually they only mean that in highly specific fashions.

Yeah, I agree. Both devices have show a bad performance on the software side. And there's no excuse for Wii U as the GC put very good numbers despite the low installbase.
