The best way to look at VGC's pre-order charts is as very vague estimates :P They can be used for about as much as "this should sell a lot/a moderate amount/not much", but past that they have the reliability of a car with no wheels, windows or engine.

You need remember the preorder here is just a guesstimate based in old trends... they get some retail info just on the weekly numbers.

I am disputing the reliability of Vgchartz in tracking SW sales. It's not only the pre-oders vs sales discrepancy, there are other numbers totally out of context. Another example? The Last of Us. More than 6 million copies sold as reported by Sony, 4.41 million in vgchartz. Do we really want to say that more than 25% of its sales are digital? On PS3?

Are 25% digital sales for a PS3 game really that unbelievable? Most PS3s have internet access and HDDs to download stuff.

It's kinda weird to see a 2013 member tell something like that to a 2008 member. Normally it would be the other way around!
