I think they'll do the same thing as last year. The following year (2015) I think they will go back to a full press conference because they will debut their next portable at that event.

I'm expecting an E3 this year...and it's going to be an E3 with so much success that the WiiU will take its position back at the top of the 8th generation console race! The PS4 won't even stand a chance :D

Nintendo just needs to get better at cutting trailers, the Mario 3D World one painted the game in the worst possible light, making it look like a beefed up version of the 3DS game. The later trailers were far better.
