Also, its official, CoD is the highest quality series since the inception of CoD 4: MW1. One day I hope TLoU, Uncharted, Zelda series, Metroid series, Mario Galaxy, GTA, Bioshock, Mass Effect or TES series will have as much quality as the CoD series...one day...

Isn't that the point of a game though ? To pick it up and enjoy it ? The fact that you threw more cash to call of duty speaks very differently about your sub conciousness. If you come back to it and keep playing it doesn't it mean that call of duty is doing the right job ? Regardless of what game you prefer you are still contributing to call of duty's value by buying the installments. Preference is one thing but it doesn't exactly mean value either. 

No I would not like to change my answer. 

Actually GTA may also be as high if not maybe higher than call of duty.

Depends heavily on the customer. If you only want a PS4, an Xbox One is worth exactly nothing to you. If you just want an Xbox, a PS4 is worth nothing and it's a great deal what was mentiones in the OP. If you want both, you're crazy, because there are no big exclusives for either of them. If you want none of them, every deal on those machines is also worth nothing at all.

Not when the ps4 is 50% more powerful.. It is like buying a 750 dollar machine for 400 bucks..

Nobody here is acting defensive from my side ... It's a known fact that value is determined by consumers. You really can't analyse by price but rather you have to do it by market demand. 


In which you are correct hence the reason I said it boils down to opinion. BUT looking at the side by side without taking ANYTHING else into consideration. Just the price of what is shown for the TF bundle and the PS4 MONENTARY value wise (not sure if I used that correctly lol) the TF XB1 bundle has the better value.

But the consumers still prefer the PS4 which again is fine no one is denying that from what I can see.

I don't see the point of not taking anything else into consideration. A console is about playing for a few years, PS4 still has better graphics, bigger user base, better online deal, greater first party studio and you can choose your first game. It's so right now, and will probably continue. That's worth money.

Xbox one has a better price, it really need it, and it will improve its sales. MS could not persuade the consumer that a bundled Kinect and some trade off was worth 100$ more. Let's see if it can prove its value for free.

Yeah that's the point of a game is to enjoy it and I enjoy MGS more than any other game. Just because it releases less frequently doesn't mean I like less than CoD. Its as if your trying to make up my opinion for me, lol. I'm not going to delve deeper into a stupid conversation about how quality=sales. GTA 5 when compared to a single title can compare to CoD but not overall franchise sales.

here is a simple formula to determine price and value:

price =((( (pi^6/logvalue^(avogadro's number)plank's constant) + euler)^-1/pi , (day of the week  · total number of gaming hardware sales)), 1) · (B x C)

where B and C are both vectors of:

supply, market location, and market demographic

and

cash in the pocket of any given joe, percentage of unemployment, and the amount of co2 in the air where joe lives

respectively.

for example:

a price of 4 gives a value of 3

The Xbox One currently has a better a library and interface. Also Twitch which I just signed up to works alot better on XB1. The more people play and try XB1 the more people realise its currently better value. E3 will be interesting.

X1 interface was cluttered and clunky. Ps4 has MLB the show, bound by flame, daylight ff14 next 5 weeks, ps4 has a better more varied library as well. Where is your proof people who play x1 realise it is more value?? Only thing we have to go by is sales, see the front page for who sees what as more value.

 

Ps plus is better value.

 

If not I can play games, watch netflix with a paywall, and get a more powerfull console. PS4 is better value.
