Forums - Sony Discussion - When will there no longer be PS4 supply issues?

Lol ps4 fans are so gullible, there hasn't been any supply issues for months. Sony is just controlling the supply, put 2 and 2 together. They ever so conveniently had plenty of stock around the Titanfall launch and infamous launch. It seems supply issues is like a built in excuse now, sony is good I admit that.

It's Xbox fans that keep saying PS4 only saw a boost this week due to better supply:

Both notions can lead to the same idea. He says Sony is controlling supply, and the quotes you list allude that Sony released said supply at the right moment.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Doesn't change the fact that you're saying the boost came from better supply.

70% boost that "hasn't anything to do with Infamous but solely due to better supply because Infamous is certainly not a game changer or system seller". :)

If Infamous isn't a system seller but the PS4 still sees a boost then the supply constraints aren't set up. Get it?

At the end of April or early May.

End of 2016 prediction

PS4:43M-46M

XBONE:28M-33M

PS4 stock seems to be ok now.

I think the people saying that stock issues don't exist are being dishonest.

It ends exactly the day the Sony fans accept that it does.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Every launch I hear the same thing, "they're withholding stock to create hype," and it always gives me a headache.

We aren't talking about retailers withholding stock to draw for their own events, that's unrelated. A manufacturer might schedule shipments to coincide with a big event but they're not going to create artificial shortages. In real business, that would be a silly move. You don't pass on a sale now in order to MAYBE get a sale later. Sony knows full well that PS4 shortages have resulted in Xbox Ones being sold. Believe it or not, that isn't something they want to happen.

A sale right now >>>> "sold out" hype. The first is dollars in your bank account, which is the primary goal of any business. Especially at launch, you want to build your install base as quickly as possible, as that directly influences friends and relatives.

It is almost completely sold out inEurope and in the U.S. it's only available online from 2 retailers. There were lines at Best Buy months after the console was released. How is there not supply issues.

You read between the lines but there is nothing there.

You know as well as me that Sony fans will draw the "supply" card even well after supply constraint has no longer a significant effect on sales.
