So the thread about 96% was wrong...

inFAMOUS boost > Titanfall boost... good.

Posted this in another thread.

"MCV can also reveal that around one in four UK Xbox One owners purchased Titanfall. Meanwhile, around one in nine PS4 owners acquired InFamous: Second Son."

Using VGC figures, this would put sales at...

Titanfall W1 - ~120,000
Titanfall W2 - ~32,000(?)

InFamous Second Son - ~80,000

Someone correct me if Im wrong. Numbers rounded obviously.

This isnt just an Infamous boost. Its an Infamous + Metal Gear Solid + Stock boost.

MGS may be good, but I am still disappointed that so many people were willing to pay for a demo.

I know that and I hate that fact too but I can't hold myself because the game is trully amazing... you need to play it... I bought it and even it being so small I enjoyed it a lot.

Konami knows that but I can't stop to play it right now (well I need to go back to home from work to play again :( ).

MCV sources saying that PS4 jumped up by 104% for the week.

Would put VGC numbers at ~23,000 for the Week if the 72% increase on Titanfall week was right.

I can use only the 2013 numbers because that's what MCV shared until now...

PS4 sold 530k in 2013... so minimum ~59k units of inFAMOUS
Xbone sold 364k in 2013... so minimum ~91k units of Titanfall

We all rest in how much the consoles sold in 2014.

BTW I read the MCV article and it says 106% not 104%.

Charttrack said it was the highest opening on PS4 in the UK after Killzone, so either our numbers are wrong or something's not right here. We have Fifa as the second highest opening after Killzone at almost 100k

I think we shouldn´t mesh up the sales report with the "trusted retail source" MVC are using.

MVC is the only one talking about previous week 72% increase and this 106% the last one.

Good start for Infamous. Disappointed with how low Final Fantasy X is and how high MGS is though.

MGS is IMO the best game you can play in both consoles right now... so you can't be disappointed with these sales.

For about 30 seconds.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
