Honestly, I would definitely like for Nintendo to become a second party for Sony. Would be a dream come true! ^_^

How would it be better on another system then on Nintendo's console. That in itself doesn't sound right. Nintendo needs to get more games to its system to make it more attractive. And I don't mean suck up to third party devs either. They need to acquire a few more studios and make a few new IP's.

There's a rather large place in the market for affordable, quality consoles and handhelds. Unfortunately, Wii U isn't affordable.

Microsoft and Sony games would be better on PC too xd

Don't get why some people are so against the idea of Nintendo going 3rd party. Sure, on the one hand it could lead to a decline in quality ala sega but, for arguments sake, what ifi it didn't and they improved? What if being free of the trappings of having to innovate for the sake of it (every time they release a console) actually creates a situation where they can just concentrate on quality games cos that's all they have to worry about for once? I don't agree with the argument that they wouldn't care and wouldn't strive to innovate if they weren't trying to sell their own hardware. They still wanna sell games right, so I'm sure they'd still try their best to maintain a certain quality. There's no reason it can't happen and there's no reason they couldn't release the same whack periferals for other consoles, to enhance their gaming experiences anyway. I for one would be happy to only have to buy a Sony console for once damit! Let's face it, Nintendo are better game makers than console makers these days anyway. And have been for quite a while. The whole 'we don't need to make machines as powerful as our competitors cos our games sell anyway, cos of innovations in gameplay blah blah blah' ain't working for them anymore.

PSP games work pretty good on PC. PS1 and PS2 games too! In fact, I don't know why we keep buying consoles when we can pirate everything on our PC's.

Leaving Nintendo hardware market would remain at two nearly identical consoles such as PS4/XboxOne, Wii U is a console that is different and provides a different experience and capabilities, as it was in the previous generation PS3/Xbox360 identical consoles, and the Wii was different .

It is much better to have a different console and a greater choice of them, and do not have the same console with the same capabilities.


What do you think, would PS4 been so good that there is no Microsoft and Nintendo consoles?

Competition at a very important, it affects the quality and price of the whole market, the more competition the better it is for users.


Luckily, Nintendo will not leave the hardware business, more likely Sony would go bankrupt and Microsoft would leave the market.

And again, you want Nintendo games, buy Nintendo hardware, its simply.
