Skyward Sword has a boring overworld. TP's overworld isn't perfect, but for a GC game it's pretty darn good!

The Silent Realms made Skyward Sword unplayable for me. I quit after getting to the third or fourth Silent Realm. I have an anxiety disorder, so gameplay like that is not fun at all for me.

TP had cool bosses in my opinion. Ocarina of Time's bosses were bland and boring(understandable for the N64 hardware).

Most of the Zelda bosses are easy and repeat the same pattern. I'd definitely like to see more Mr. Freeze like boss batlle(Arkham City) in Zelda, but doesn't seem likely...

I can easily imagine how Twinrova would've been an amazing boss battle in 1998, but now it's just an ok boss in my opinion. I had more fun with the Stallord boss.

Ocarina of Time had good dungeons, but so did TP. I never really struggled on any dungeon with Ocarina of Time. The Water Temple was very easy(except one room where you had to kill all sea creatures to open a hatch, but I didn't realize that before I looked it up lol).

It happens always. And yes Water Temple is easy. In fact, the Water Temple from TP was one of the best.

TP bosses were so easy. Epic, but easy. I actually did a 3 heart run and it was very easy (with the exception of the Snowpeak Ruins). Not as easy as TWW, but easy. I cannot imagine a 6 heart run on Hero mode for SS as easy as those two.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I haven't actually played Skyward Sword, but I would say that Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker, while not better ZELDA games, are better games overall than Ocarina. It's hard to describe, but I've always felt like Ocarina's biggest strength is just how pure the Zelda game feel is. Aside from that, it doesn't have much going for it.

best one since lttp yea

Well, I don't really like hard games because of my anxiety disorder lol. Well, I don't mind hard puzzles, but I don't like stuff like Silent Realm.

Yeah, TP bosses were easy, but like you said also epic. But anyway, people also call A Link between Worlds easy and I died like 27 times there give or take. :o I didn't grab all those power ups until after I completed the game though(maiamai and heart containers)

Skyward sword is a better than Ocarina of time, but not as good as Wind Waker.

Between this and the Other M thread we can safely declare Pavolink has a shitty measure of what a good game is.

Everyone enjoys bad games now and then, but nobody is meant to call them good.

I actually liked a Fantastic Four game on the GC once.

Wind Waker was amazing.

Maybe you can have options that differ opinions from your own hmm?

The story could have been brought out better, the music was okay at best, the gameplay was great, but I would have preferred a controller to do the job.

The art  direction wasn't a very good choice. They did a few characters wonderfully, (Groose, Girahim, Demise) but I was pretty annoyed with the design choice for Zelda....I don't like those bangs....I like my zelda to have her hair back...not bangs....

I do agree that it had phenomenal puzzles in the mix.

The exploration was very lacking. I wish you could go from place to place without using the sky, and maybe the sky was bigger. I didn't like having to go back to the places I already had gone, doing a favor for this person or that, going back, and finally making it to the dungeon.

Highlights of the game; Silent Realms, Stealth mission, and the final temple

Overall, I'd say it is my eighth favorite Zelda game.

I still think Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game.

You thought wrong.

Silly me, for thinking that sailing in a largely barren ocean and swimming chasing tad tones wasn't my idea of an entertaining Zelda game.

Since when was the ocean barren?
