I already silenced the critics... Outside of gamepad centric games i mostly use Kinect on Xbox one and even on 360.... And YES i go faster doing so than those pretending to be faster with a gamepad... I call BS on those saying otherwise i have proved countless of my friends wrong... And YES without yelling... Heck it works from 20 feet away not aligned with it and a loud fan on...
we even do speed contest with the wife when watching movies and the only way the pads win is if its already on in her hands and she covers my voice saying something else...
only speech impeded people don't use Kinect when they have one... Or people that like to waste time... Heck on the new one motion control is almost as fast than the pad when used in concert with voice... I can't understand people not dreaming of minority report or star trek main computer command... The only way we get there is if people support it...

Its so fast that on kinect joy ride you could get a podium finish without moving because it would read your mind.

Oh man, that looks so bad!

That was the greatest thing, ever.

It'll get a nice meta (at least in the mid 70's), will sell a million on its own steam, and will be used as a bundle to showcase kinect in the coming holidays.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Aren't these Forbes bloggers supposed to be the scum of the earth or something?

Thanks jlmurph!

$100 price drop this holiday and bundle KSR with it, and Microsoft has a winner. The casuals will flock to that like no tomorrow along with all those waiting for a price drop to pick up an Xbox One (including me).

I never felt the outside of a few workout games that kinect was terribly inaccurate(slow as hell maybe due to latency). My issue with the games was really how limited and dumbed down most of them were in scope. Lots of them had semi fun moments but few were very compelling. The few that had anything compelling it was watered down with a hand holding or linearity or too overall too restrictive design. For what the games amounted to it could have been done with way cheaper parts.

I'm glad Kinect seems to work well for so many but I recall regular shouting matches trying to get it to work on the 360. My friend tried to show off his Xbox one but had to get a controller to turn it on after we had a very similar style shouting match. Major disappointment as I hoped for major improvements in that area. When it worked it was compelling. But when that is only half the time...

I really like the ideas behind kinect. I just think their implementation from Microsoft as well as 3rd parties has been consistently sub par. Wait to click is some seriously dated Eye Toy style stuff that shouldn't take a 75-150 dollars to accomplish(It was done with a 10 dollar web cam). I hope that Apple purchasing Primesense means that user interfaces like this can work feasibly and elegantly. I can see how cool they can be. I just think it will take another company to get it right and silence my criticisms personally.

The kinect is the Hellen Keller of consoles. I get that by how well it functions... or doesnt most of the time. So this will be interesting.

I highly doubt Kinect Sports Rivals is going to silence the NeoGAF community.

Which critics? Kinect ones? Xbone ones? Rivals ones?

xbox one ones.

lol no, I very much doubt that. The critics will be unphased.

lol no. Even if its meta is great and sells a million+, they will then play the "Rare doesn't make core games anymore" card.
