Forums - Microsoft - 'Kinect Sports Rivals Will Silence Xbox One Critics' - Forbes

I wasn't too interested in getting any Kinect Sports games.. but after seeing how well the game looked and played, I'm definitely buying the game, whenever it gets cheap on price.

Off topic but something keeps telling me to buy all of the Kinect and Move games I skipped. I'm not even drinking!

The kinect is the Hellen Keller of consoles. I get that by how well it functions... or doesnt most of the time. So this will be interesting.

Only it seems most people who has gotten an xbox says it works the majority of the time, roughly around 80% is what i hear most, and that would fit with my story as well.  The people trashing kinect 2.0 are mostly people who hasnt even used it. In fact everybody that has came to my house has been super impressed with it.  Again as ive stated on this forum before, perception is microsoft's problem.

It'll get a nice meta (at least in the mid 70's), will sell a million on its own steam, and will be used as a bundle to showcase kinect in the coming holidays.

$100 price drop this holiday and bundle KSR with it, and Microsoft has a winner. The casuals will flock to that like no tomorrow along with all those waiting for a price drop to pick up an Xbox One (including me).

I say definately yes on the budle, but I doubt there will be a price drop.  It's already way ahead of the 360 over the same period of time.  The rivals have nothing to compete against it.

Microsoft needs to show it off, and people will buy.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Yelling at Kinect to make it work better is as retarded than speaking louder to a foreigner hopping he'll understand better what you say....
if it doesn't work you are doing something wrong and yelling won't make it better....

there are a few instance where I have issues.... When the Xbox is on but in power save mode sometime the old Kinect seems to not wake up on the 360... And in the Hulu plus app... But Hulu seems to have the most retarded app developers in the world.... Their app suck on every device I have used...
if anybody knows a viable Hulu plus replacement let me know... Cause the only reason I keep it is because I get to see my TV shows the next day on it....

The game looks polished, especially the wave racing, but I don't think it will make big waves at retail.

My 8th gen collection

I hope this guy is right, Microsoft really needs to prove that the bundled Kinect is worth the extra $100-150 to the Kinect critics. I'm pretty impressed by what I've seen so far. I hope Microsoft announces a bundle similar to the Titanfall one, would be a great way to win some casuals over. If not now than at least for the Holiday season, especially if they drop the price to $400 before the holiday season.

Yes they need to pack in a proper Kinect game with the Xbox One so they can prove to people that it's worth it. I don't think voice commands would do it, seeing as the PS4 does voice commands and you don't need the camera, albeit not as accurate, but it gets the job done.
