PS4. Better library of games to play, imo, including the Plus games, and Infamous is coming out next week, which seems uber fun!

PS4.

Better versions of multiplats and PS+ is basically Netflix and/or Amazon Prime for gamers.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

For myself the best option right now I think is the WiiU, I use that console all the time while I use the PS4 very little. I just love the gamepad for netflix etc and SM3dW is amazing.

You can't go wrong with either, assuming price is no issue. PErsonally, I'd recommend the PS4, though. Cheaper, better exclusives, better online benefits, and better multiplatform games.

At least that's what it looks like.

Price - 400 vs 500. PS4 Wins
Hardware - PS4 (stronger system, more options)
Multiplats - PS4 has better hardware architecture.
Online - PS4 (cheaper, more benefits)
Exclusives - Uncharted, God of War, etc vs Gears and Halo. Tie

The only thing that might be an Xbox One bonus OVER the PS4 is the exclusive games. If you love Halo, Gears, and Forza a lot, then you can't go wrong with an Xbone. I personally think the PS brand has more exclusives, as well as more variety and quality.

But the difference between the two is so small that it's really not a decision. go with whichever you think has better exclusive games.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

I hate seeing people "well the ___ has better games right now, get that" when both Xbox one and ps4 have a piss poor selection.

Buy a ps3 and a 360 for less than the price of either new console and enjoy the epic libraries both offer, if you already have one or both, buy some games for it.

Depends on the types of games you like. Personally, I wouldn't buy either until next year. I got a PS4 at launch, and I really don't know why lol. Should have just gotten a PS3, played all of the games I missed, and got a PS4 next year.

As the recent owner of both Xbox One and PS4, I'd say the PS4 has the One beat in graphics and install but the Xbox One has the PS4 beaten in virtually every other department......for now. It's not even close. Maybe it was the overhyping of the Playstation and the constant bashing of the One but I was a little let down by the PS4 and a bit surprised by the Xbox.

Titanfall is the only retail game I own for the Xbox One and Tomb Raider is all I own for the PS4 and both look like higher end 7th gen games so I can't judge games until I get Ryse and inFamous in the next couple of days/weeks. As far as console capability, with absolutely no games to compare, just system vs. system, the Xbox One is a beast.

Sony and M$'s goals were different though so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But if I had to sacrifice one right now and I'd get it back in a month, the PS4 would the one I'd send off....right after I finish Outlast. I'm sure it will be different when the games roll out.

That's why I didn't buy my PS4 for its game lineup at the time.

This question is really dependent on what one values in a product. So its impossible to come up with a correct answer, only a popular one.

I'm gonna be biased, the PS4. I've been getting "free" games (indie but still great games) to keep me busy, InFamous promises to showcase a true next gen title and the image of the PS4 and sony has been improving steadily over the course of the PS4 release. Whether it is deserved or not is another argument for another time.

Never liked online FPS games, so Titanfall does nothing for me. Dead Rising 3 is more of a draw but spending $500 for a single game is crazy, not to mention the gold sub price. If you are into online FPS and already have gold for CoD or BF4 then Titanfall is fantastic.

I'm waiting on Quantum Break and Fable to see if I'll get and Xbox One, but Microsoft certainly loves thier FPS fan base.
