I don't think so. PS3 has a slim chance if Sony brings other exclusives to the platform but now they'll only focus on ps4

Depends on the exclusives that come out. And we all know the 360 won't really be getting any worth shit.

it is certainly a possibility... but I don't think it is a that likely of one. I think the 360 will end up at around 90 million with the ps3 somewhere around 95 million.

So I don't think it is that much of a stretch to say the ps3 could hit 100 million, but I have a hard time seeing the 360 crossing that mark. However, like I said, it is a possibility. It really comes down to how sony and microsoft continue to support the consoles in the coming couple of years.

I am confident PS3 will reach 100k.

With TLOU, GT6 and GTA5 just released this year (still the best games in their respective category, next gen included), it will be enough to sell PS3s for many more years to come.

And don't forget those machines are still relatively expensive, so there is room for much better prices.

With another price cut, it could happen for PS3. If you still want to play PS3 games, you need a PS3 console, since the PS4 is not backwards compatible. Sure, there will be Playstation Now, but in most regions this service will be unusable for many years (internet infrastructure, data caps, service will not be offered in many countries).

PS Plus will also help to prolong the life of the PS3... many PS4 owners will subscribe for multiplayer access and the monthly PS4 game. But they also get two PS3 games every month, so many of them without a PS3 will be tempted eventually to get an additional PS3 for these games.
