 Seriously though, even though I'm going to get it for all the reasons you stated above, I wonder what it will do for the perception of "3rd party titles" on the Wii.

Consider: If the title bombs people will say "see, Wii is for the kiddies, not great hardcore games". If the title does great people will say "yeah, it's a port of a great game, of course it sold, where's the new IP?" and be relegated to the same status that RE4:Wii has, something to be dismissed because ports don't count even if they sell well. It's a no win situation.

Regardless, I am looking forward to it! 

Well not many games are accountable on Wii.

If it is on another system you can't count it.
No to first parties
Contains minigames = no way
Too hardcore and it can't count either.
Has an option to use GC or Classic control and it's not a Wii game.
Has you flailing your arms too much and it's too casual to count.


I think we are left with Zack & Wiki, unless that's considered excessive flailing?
