Forums - Nintendo - Does anyone really actually care about Bayonetta 2?

I care

I never played the first one, but I will most definitely get this game. I like to support Wii U, and the game does look fun!

Why would anyone be embarassed to play something like Bayonetta infront of his friends and feel awkward ?

People can be overly self-conscious about certain things at young ages.  Most grow out of it.

I think the game looks fun but I have a question. Is the main character a lesbian? I'm just curious. I'm not hateful towards gays, I love them as people and children of God and they are sinners just like everybody else but I don't like it when games have agendas that I don't agree with so does anyone know anything about this from the first game? Guildwars 2 just shoved this type of thing down my throat. Again I'm not trying to deprive people from their right to be gay, I just personally am against it and don't want it shoved down my throat in games or movies. Much love all.

I don't know, but I hope she is now.

By the way, sticking "much love all" at the end of your comment doesn't make it any less ignorant or offensive.

How does my comment make me ignorant? Ignorant of what exactly? Certainly not what the Bible says on homosexuality or all the other sins. And how does this make me offensive? I'm not making fun of gays or saying rude things about them. I'm just stating that it's not something I agree with based on my faith in Jesus Christ. And I do say all this out of love, otherwise I would have said a bunch of hateful words. I care about people's souls and that is what I'm supposed to be doing in this life. For the glory of God.

To me it seems that what you got from the Bible is that it is wrong to be gay. That the game is about sensless killing does this not make you reflect on one of the 10 BIG commandments in the beginning of the Bible?

Wow what an homophobic post. "I have nothing against gays as long as they are not talking to me, not in my face, lives in caverns far from society and mostly not shown in games I might like because if its the case it has to be an agenda from the gay conspirators..." What is the problem about a main caracters being gay? Lots of important people in society in key position are gay, do they have agendas to? Or being gay is having an agenda? Do you really think that creators/writers are always having an agenda when they write a story? Gays exist in all societies and most of them don't have agendas, they just are gay. Its just normal that a few characters in a few games are gays, no agenda there, just normal life...

I don't know why but it still surprises me how people twist my words. I never said I don't like being around gays. I'm a sinner just like they are. I'm around gays all the time and I'm polite to them and they are polite to me. I'm not going to be rude and call your names like you did when you said I'm homophobic. I'm not homophobic, I love gays just like anybody else. All I did was ask a simple question because I don't like having things shoved down my throat, just as non Christians don't like things being shoved down their throats. To hate me and call me names just because of my faith is something, as a Christian, I'm used to and is something I expect based on what the Bible says will happen to believers in Christ from non believers. I won't respond with hatred. I love you all.

Then the problem I see in your post is the use of words like "agenda" and "shoved down my throat" because a game or a movie with gay characters is most of the time not an "agenda" or something that they want to "force down your throat" it's just the way they see their character, without any aftertoughts. Phrasing your post that way makes you sound like you do have a problem with gays beeing in games or in movies that you may be interested in. That's the reason why I used the word homophobic (a phobia is being afraid of something that does not exists, pose any threats or af a twisted view of reality) as you seem to see "agendas" where in fact there aren't any... I may have reacted a bit to much and I'm not hating you, but be careful with words as they do have a meaning.

People that didn't even know about the 1st one are treating it like a gamechanger because its exclusive to Wii U.

Heh it's funny. If Bayonetta 2 was announced for PS4/XBO and not WiiU, a lot of Nintendo fans would insult the series and act like it's not good enough to be on the WiiU.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Not only that, but there'd be just about no one from the ps4 or xb1 camps coming to defend it because the game would essentially go unnoticed (yet still likely sell several times as many copies).  I'd also imagine it would appear on far fewer 'most anticipated games' lists.

No interest whatsoever. I get the feeling it's not going to sell very well.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

The first Bayonetta is one of my favorite action games last generation, and while I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel, I'll admit that I think the game still has a niche audience, even among fans of the genre, so I'm uncertain of how popular the sequel will be, especially within the Wii U's user base. Hopefully it will be successful enough to be profitable for both Nintendo and Platinum Games.

You don't miss a chance, do you ? It's getting pretty desperate when you have to use fiction in order to feed your need to lessen people who prefer a different company.

I like Sony's home consoles, owned every one of them, but damn fans like you are annoying.
