I'll give you a clue, I'm buying the special edition PS3 version and the only Vita version next week

Probably IX is next, then maybe XII or VII. I haven't played all of them, but I've played a good number and IX and X are the 2 that really stood out



FF VI is the only real answer here. IX was good, and VII brought more JRPG attention to America, but VI is by far the best.



Why isn't FF13 on the poll?

Just kidding, everyone knows FF13 sucks :P.  FF13 fans who say it doesn't are in denial.

FFVII over FFVI because of sheer scope. I still can't believe people think FFIX is in any way close to FFVI or FFVII, but I have to respect that at least.

FFVI has an awesome story, one of the best of its generation.
FFVII is still perhaps the most epic game ever and a great story to boot.


It's interested that in both games they have a beginning part where you build the story up and a second end part after a cataclysm to the end of times.
