I seen the thread all day, Sales for LR is <165k with ps3 having about 110k split. BD has 160k with over 40k digital. Somebody there was comparing top sold digital for ps3, LR didn't chart. So BD>LR. Just leave it at that

this. they have done this before. I think Jan was not as low as they reported so they added the adjustment to FEB numbers. They have done this before. The easy way to tell is if the next month is someone in the middle (and the one month spike had no explanation). It will be difficult to tell though because XB1 has titanfall... if sales dip or are the same in march for XB1 than this is what they did.
Sadly in Jan, VGC was over NDP by alot, it seems to me now that XB1's Jan number was somewhere in between VGC and NDP.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
VGC greatly underestimated PS4/XB1/WiiU and even 360.
Adjustements up all round, woot! (P.S. WiiU looks less doomed!)

This site may have been screwed by NDP playing games with their numbers. We will see, if Titanfall does no boost sales at all from FEB than we can easily deduce that NDP "adjusted" their numbers. VGC "adjust" numbers by simply changing past estimates when new data is released. NDP NEVER revises old data so how would they ensure they capture the correct LTD number so they are not too far over time? They simply add or subtract to the next month.
They have done this quite a bit actually. I have followed VGC for 8+ years and have percieved this trend. Ask other long time users, there have been months that VGC was way off under or over from NDP, VGC adjust, then recalabrates their formulas to correct errors, so then the next month when NDP "adjust" VGC is way off in the other direction.
Look for this pattern. VGC off one month over/under to NDP (badly, not talking 10-20% off, I am talking 30-60% here) then the next month they are off by nearly as much the other direction.

Its great that demand for X1 is up alot and up more in March by what your seeing, With VGC undertracking PS4 again, are you seeing a slow in sales for PS4 or is it still selling as much as you can get stock for.
I'm done with this website and unreliable numbers.

he has no obligation what so ever to say anything about the PS4, he can talk about any console he wants and leave out any other one all the time.
I find it interesting that people are congratulating Microsoft for only barely losing.

Im just happy there back in it, a one horse race would of been disasterous for the industry.
