Seriously i think some people are making a big deal about this because finally they have some bad PS4 news to talk about :D

I don't think PS4 is supply constrained, but then I also dont think its worth comparing Wii-u Xmas sales with Feb PS4 sales. I expect a small rise next week for MGS. But until some worthy Japanese games come out I think it will do 15k a week once its settled.

On another note, PS4 is still selling really well as far as we know, its still selling way above predictions and beating its competition. Why the doom. Japanese market right now for consoles is rubbish, Wii-u is all but dead, XboxOne hasnt launched yet and is unlikely to fair any better. I guess people might get their 5 minutes of gloating out of the way before they realise consoles are in the crapper in Japan and their console of choice is not going to do any better.

NPD is coming shortly, that should be fun.

I smell a 3DSi and 3DSi XL coming for Japan in the spring ... 2DS is not going to fly there, the Japanese don't care for stripped down/cheapo hardware. They did not release the Wii mini there either. 

They probably will show off Dragon Quest XI for the 3DS soon after DQM2 fades down the charts.

What shocks me, on a forum dedicated to sales, is the mercurial nature of arguments and debates which veer one way or the other on a daily basis. I would have thought that from experience, people would just wait that little bit longer before they plunge head first into a face palm.

I hope that nobody's expecting PS4 to save the console market in Japan anymore. Many people said so some months ago, and I was shaking my head. I mean, I certainly hope that something will help home consoles in Japan, but I don't think it'll (and never expected it to) happen.

Honestly, Vita's sales only look good because everything else is so bad. I mean, Vita is certainly in a better position than it was before, and that's great, but it's still somewhat disappointing.

Damn, Japan, get your shit together.
