People bought a PS4 just to play CoD:Ghosts. Go figure, sometimes people just want access to the technically superior version.

I'm gonna presume early X1 adopters have interest in that console beyond Titanfall.

As a ps4 and pc gamer, I can say that I was not at all blown away by titanfall in the beta. I thought it was enjoyable, but nothing special. If titanfall is ever on sale for $10, I'll probably get it for PC. If I could play it on PS4, I'd still probably skip it.

I got it on PC yesterday.  I wouldn't pay $500 just for Titanfall, only if there's other XB1 games or features you want.  It's a good game, but probably not the best game you've ever played by a long shot.

As a nintendo gamer, i say the same.
I skipped x360(got ps3 and wii), and my pc is a old and weak notebook.
and i like kingdom hearts too.
XBO is really apealing me.

Agreed. But I won't be playing neither. Perhaps Infamous, but it will be later if so. I haven't tried any Infamous games yet.

No one bought a PS4 just to play COD, but they bought COD on PS4 because they bought a PS4.

a cross gen game with old gen technic is not a decent reason to buy an expensive next gen console

I don't know, I'm kinda sick.of shooters altogether to be honest. The genre is just so overused. Maybe I'll get the game for 360 when it's a little cheaper. But right now, no. Just no more shooters please for a little while.

The first sentence is me using his logic. I don't really believe people bought a PS4 solely for CoD:Ghosts... they also want CoD:MW4 and CoD:BO3.

 

If your favorite cross gen games look and run better on the next gen platform, that's a decent reason to buy the expensive next gen console.

I got an X1 because I want games like Halo and Gears. But in the meantime, I'm enjoying the superior graphics and frame rates I can't get on 7th gen.

And hopefully without bots.  Bigger multiplayer matches 12 vs 12 or bigger


If you think 6 vs 6 isn't enough, I get the impression you haven't really played the game.

BF4 has less action and the maps have 64 players.


I played the beta on PC.  I don't think you played Titanfall.  You mostly go against bots, and it's not often you go against pilots.  All the titans are human players though.  I thought the game was good.  However, I don't think this game is going to have longevitiy because I don't think this game is for the ultra-competitive multiplayer FPS gamer.  When you have a score saying that you killed 28 bots and only 6 human players, it's not that satifying.
