No, it won't win as many game of the year awards as The Last of Us. But I won't be surprised if it wins "Best Shooter", "Best Multiplayer", "Best Xbox 360 Game", and "Best Xbox One Game".

Its your opinion and that all gravy and that. But i doubt it would be able to hold a candle to cod4 and bf3. That last part is my opinion.

OT- This topic is a bit silly. They did win them technically they are awards. Doesnt matter how silly some of them are. It was best of e3 so thats box worthy.

What awards? oh those? No wonder it's only getting pure 9s and 10s and its Metascore is like GOTY caliber, right, like high 90s, right? Only it isn't.

Cool, so you understand simple logic. So why should a 2 day old game match the GOTY awards a game released last year won? Does it really bother you that much that yyou'd need to bring in a completely unrelated game and make an incredibly silly comment? Help me out please, I just don't get the mentality. I mean, I wouldn't enter an Infamous 3 thread talking about Dead Rising 3 zombies or something.

What is an award worth for video games with that shitty journalism we have these days? Seriously, I could make up an award right now and it would be worth more than most other awards. I mean, we have like 200 Games of the year each year! (At least I'm seeing GOTY editions left and right) If you don't have an award, just make a quick n dirty website and give them to yourself.

Not saying that Titanfall did anything like that, but video games awards really are hardly worth anything. I hereby grant Titanfall the Great OdinHades Award of Randomness. So make that 76+ awards!

Lastly, if you read the first post, this thread is about TLOU as well...and people already do comment about xbox games on PS game threads so I dont see anything new there either.

Well these awards are just like the awards you get when, for example, you finish a level in a game or when you have played your first five hours or when you save your game for the tenth time. They are worthless...

I wish we, VGC, were quoted on the box like we were in Halo 4.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

There's nothing second rate a bout E3 awards. Of course GOTY awards are more impressive, but the moral of the story is its kind of hard for Titanfall to win GOTY awards from any serious journalist in March. 

And I already know it bothers you. Hence your posts in this thread. I was just wondering why is all. Hope that helps.
