I've already told you why the PS3 and 360 ports for the most part have had performance issues.

Again, I'm not for a second saying that the Wii U is comparable to the PS4 and One in terms of power. It sits somewhere between the PS3 and Xbox One, and as a result won't have any problems running down-ports from the other two current gen consoles. Developers will find it a great deal easier to port between the current gen consoles due to having virtually the same console architecture.

And have you any sauce for that developer and his 176GFlops claim? Developers do have strict NDAs.

So I show u proof of 350 glops gpu running 360 games with higher resolution and setting and you tell me Wii U is some how in between x1 and 360 that means the Wii U gpu is 600flops that makes sense.

"game changing", I had to laugh. first, it would only take some small downgrades and resolution drops to run it on wii u.

second, I think you haven't been watching games for the last years. Nowadays, even major graphical downgrades are just that: GRAPHICAL. 0 game changing.

After downgrading everything to fit the hardware:

You're right. I see no difference whatsoever! xD

I'm not even sure if you're serious.

The likes of Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, X and SSBU - most running at 720p native at 60fps with v-synch enabled - running on a GPU with 176, or even 352GFlops, doesn't make sense either.

There's a lot more going on under the hood than we're aware of, that much is quite clear to anyone with any sense. I'd put money on AMD and Nintendo working together to evolve the TEV Unit so that it gives the Wii U fixed functions whilst keeping the rendering pipeline standard. This would give developers 'free' use of common shading effects, lighting and shadows and depth of field. It would explain why the ALUs are so big and explain how it can run the above games with those settings.

We know that the Wii U punches above its weight. How much remains to be seen, as I've said before Project CARS is the only game we can fairly compare to the other console SKUs - and you should also remember that Slightly Mad Studios canned the PS3 and 360 SKUs because the consoles weren't powerful enough to do the game justice...and they've kept the Wii U SKU going. That alone should tell you something.

OK PS3 exclusives look much better then those games u listed but your argument is this games looks better then this game fanboy talk I'm showing u games on both platforms unless devs have become incompetent there is no way your gonna have any port with 450 glop gpu run games worse then 360 but then again I'm talking to a fanboy the proof is right on your face games with no optimization are running at higher resolution and frames on a 350 gpu something the wiiu has never achieved after a year

I've been saying this since the day the specs of the Wii-U were revealed: Once thrid party support for PS360 dries up, Wii-U dries up. They are not going to make a whole engine to release on Wii-U.

Though this was before i knew third party support would already be pretty much gone by now.

the wii u specs were never revealed but we know it has all that it takes to receive any game for the 8th gen.

Sure, but not without major, massive, gamr changing downgrades to the Wii U version. And seeing how Wii U is on its way to become a commercial failure, I don't see the developers putting much or even any effort into the porting process

Small dowgrades in resolution? Really? You are on the whole new level of denial. Wii U is massively underpowered and the power gap is incredibly huge. It has much much smaller (and slower) RAM, a CPU that is even weaker tha PS3's CPU and a GPU that is comparable to mid range Radeon 5000 series. On 8th gen standards, it is laughable by all aspects

Warner seem to be pretty staunch WiiU supporters, putting out Lego, Injustice and Batman games, but it seems the new Batman is PS4/XB1/PC only. So is this the end of support from Warner outside of the Lego videogames?

The other two question marks left now are Ubisoft and Assassins Creed, and Activision and Call of Duty.

It's pretty obvious WiiU will always get Just Dance, Skylanders and Rayman. But could this be the last year of annual core support for the WiiU?

I am really sorry to say it buddy, but in this case it is because of console horsepower, this game will probably make the One sweat, imagine what it would do to poor WiiU =/

I agree with all of your comments. But please remember what we saw of arkham knight was CGI. We havent seen how the game will actually look.

You are right, we have no gameplay footage yet, for that I apologize. I was thinking about the press release that said it would have the batmobile.

However, being Rocksteady, I presume it will have the Batman Arkhan City level of quality, now imagine how hard it is to insert a vehicle in such a gorgeous game and not make it look ridiculous, meaning, having decent physics, movement, integration with the world, even sound. That concept blew my mind and I really don´t know how the Xbox One and Ps4 even can pull it out.

Of course, it can be only a GTA Batman, with half assed graphics and just a much more simple and organic gameplay, it can be a game that would run on wiiU, but, for some reason, Warner, that supported the console before, dropped it out this time.

Actually, maybe they will say it will come to WiiU in the future, that would make things very interesting.

What I meant is: I know that Nintendo is in trouble getting 3rd party support, but from now on the trouble will come also from power, no only because of the install base size.

What do you think?

That said, you are totally right, we do not have any idea yet what kind of game it is, yet.

I wonder what the future holds, if the WiiU was selling more, would everybody port everything for it from now on? I mean, it has a 6 million units install base and it is growing at a steady pace, so, it is not by any means a super failure like Atari Jaguar or Virtual Boy (those, I believe, sold less than 1 million).

What do you think?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Those games I've listed are WAY beyond anything the PS3 and 360 are capable of.

@Kane1389: Firstly, developers have done nothing but praise the RAM. There's virtually no latency.

Secondly, regarding the CPU, you've got to remember several things. 1) As with Latte, we know very little about Expresso and there hasn't been a single non-anonymous developer that's worked with it rather than just judging by its specs on paper that's complained about it. 2) The Cell is an in-order CPU with an 8 stage pipeline (if I remember correctly, but I will stand to be corrected!), Expresso is an out-of-order CPU with a ridiculously short 4 stage pipeline. That's why it doesn't have SMT, it doesn't need it. 3) You can't compare different CPUs clock for clock you might as well compare apple's and oranges.

And, again, we hardly know anything about Latte. It certainly doesn't resemble a 5000 series GPU - it's a completely custom chip that doesn't resemble any other GPU on the market. What we do know is that it's quite capable of producing visuals that outshine anything that the PS3 and 360 are capable of, it has a dx11 equivalent feature set and, again, not a single developer has had a bad word to say about it.

Sorry. But given current situation this game wont (and shuldnt) come to wii uo. Nintendo was late to release wii u.

But, only because of sales? I do not own a WiiU yet, and never seen it in real life, only internet, so I dont know how powerful it really is. Do you think it could run a Batman game with the batmobile and the amazing Rocksteady´s level of quality?
