Forums - Nintendo - Wii U has a new multiplatform-king!

"Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed" has lost its pole position, "Disney Infinity" is now the best-selling WiiU game that ain't Nintendo-exclusive.

Hopefully "Rayman Legends" surpasses both of them, it derserves that position.

Congrats!

Infinity isn't that bad actually. Looks cool.

I've heard these NFC games are raking in a massive amount of cash for Activision and Disney.

Given that the next Disney Infinity won't be on the old Wii, that probably plays well into the WiiU's future. Wouldn't be surprised if the next entry broke past 1 million.

Fun fact: Skylanders on Wii U has nearly outsold the XOne and PS4 versions combined.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Wow. I really had to confirm this on my own. Those are abysmal sales. I knew multiplat sales were bad on WiiU but the best games only reaching 300k? Now that is just bad.
Not bashing the WiiU, I'm just really surprised.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Monster Hunter 3 is multiplatform, and that's at 480k, nearly 200k higher than Disney Infinity.

Those ... aren't exactly impressive sales. They're pretty horrible actually for a system that should have a sell through of about 5 million.

10% attach rate for MH isn't that bad.

To get a 10% attac rate on PS3/360 you'd need 8m sales.

Yeah Monster Hunter is OK, but it probably got a nice boost from being in the Japanese launch window. The rest of that list though ... yikes. The odd thing about the Wii U, is genre types you would suspect would do well on the Wii U, like Wii Fit U, Mario & Sonic, Rayman Legends, Skylanders, Just Dance ... aren't performing very well either.
