Holly cow its still number 1 and it still has more than 999 units, its either selling liek 3 units an hour and nothing else is selling at all or this shipment was beyond massive.

3 units an hour = 72 units a day = a lot for one retailer = massive shipment.

Those two options arent mutually exclusive to each other. Target got shipments too and sold out each day we got them. Stores in the area keep calling every other store because people come in looking for them when our system says we have them in stock because it updates daily but sell out early

72 Units a day for Amazon.com would be a lot?  I'm not saying that the PS4 actually sold 72 units a day, but IF it did, that would be absolutely disastrous.  Amazon is huge, and if they were only selling around 500 units a week that would be insanely bad.  Amazon isn't like a local store.  Amazon selling only 72 units a day would be akin to every Best Buy in the country selling 72 units a day combined.

Yeah that amount is just silly.  It's gotta be around a thousand per day, give or take.  An overly busy gamestop like one in Times Square gotta probably do 70 lol

I find that one hard to believe as well.  Having such a massive shipment after having none for quite some time doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.  If Sony was holding back units, I'd imagine they'd have held onto them until Infamous or something.  Maybe they diverted them from Japan if demand was soft there, but even so it seems high.  I'd guess something like 500 a day maybe, but that's just my guess.  I don't really know that much about Amazon sales patterns.

Bottom line though is that people who want a PS4 can get one.  So, that's good.

Not sure why anyone with a 360 would upgrade to a One for Titanfall, at least not this entry.

But I am pleasantly surprised to see the PS4 in stock, now if more Warehouse Deals would pop up for cheap.

Because according to some people, Titanfall is so amazing that it completely defies logic.

Why would someone upgrade to X1 for titanfall instead of getting on 360? "Well, to get the better looking verision of course"

Ps4 has superior looking version  and performing version of mostly every multiplat, why would anyone choose an X1? "It's all about the gameplay, graphics don't matter".

Yes, but remember, resolution and framerate doesn't matter so why buy an X1 when you can play it on the 360?

Exactly. I love how certain people flip flop on that argument. PS4 version superior = Graphics don't matter. Someone questions why they should buy an X1 over a 360 = Because graphics.... It's just so hilarious.

The X1 may be a terrible console but at least it's provided a ton of entertaintment and I didn't even have pay a single cent for it.

It's just weird how this is always overlooked. The ONLY reason people would buy Titanfall on the X1 is because of better resolution or framerate. They seem to want to have the argument both ways which proves emphatically that resolution DOES in fact matter and they're just trying to convince themselves it DOESN'T.

It's mostly because for some reason, Titanfall seems to defy all logic for some people.

At least it just seems that way. The expectations for it as a system seller are incredibly overblown. We've seen in years past what exclusives do to boost a console's sales, but no, Titanfall will be bigger than that (even though it's not even exclusive). We've seen before that MP only games don't have as much traction, but no, Titanfall will be the exception. We've seen before cross-gen games tend to sell better on the previous gen consoles, but no Titanfall will be an exception (this is the only one I might agree on since MS is ignoring the 360 entirely).

The hype around Titanfall is honestly ridiculous. I'm looking forward to buying it on PC when it hits $20,  and I played the beta. It's a fun game but it's not even the best thing I've played this year let alone the best game ever.

At this point, I can't wait for it to come just so that everyone can finally move on. It'll have it's two or three week boost on X1 sales and then it'll flatline again and we'll start hearing "Wait till E3", "Wait for Pricedrop" or "Wait for Halo".

We've seen this exact pattern of "wait for" with the Wii U.

I completely agree. People also make the mistake of assuming a boost in X1 sales without considering how Infamous could boost PS4 sales. We'll get about two weeks of premature gloating followed by deep depression! People also seem to be forgetting a MGS bundle will sell better on the PS4 and a likely Driveclub bundle in April.

edit: Is there a X1 bundle for MGS at all?

I think having the console available for customers who aren't decided on their console choice or may be swaying toward PS4 during the Titanfall launch is really smart.  Don't want people getting caught up in the hype without your console to make them reconsider.  Maybe it is closer to 500, but Amazon is a massive site and I think enough people have forsaken brick and mortar stores for it to be possible.

But yeah, bottom line is people are gettng their PS4's.  Hopefully supply gets better soon with all launches completed.

Imma steal that last line.

And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Maybe, but I don't feel like Titanfall was really that big of a release that Sony would see as a huge threat.  It's a cross-gen release that's a new IP and isn't exactly groundbreaking as far as I could tell.  If Titanfall is a big thing for the XBox One, it will be because of word of mouth hype building.  Titanfall probably won't be a huge deal.  3-4 million units maybe.  But if the game is really exceptional, Titanfall 2 could be a huge system seller if it is exclusive.

Certainly, in their blind hype for Titanfall people seem to be completely discrediting inFamous and MGS (two established IPs, unlike Titanfall). MGS, while not exclusive (just like Titanfall) will be focused mostly on the PS4. It's the version people will hear about and identify with. As for inFamous, I think a lot of people are just brushing it off based on the first two which is absurd since Second Son is pretty much a reboot with actual marketing and attention.

One thing's for sure, March is going to be an amazing month. I think inFamous will have a bigger WW launch week, PS4 will top X1 in NA, and obviously WW. Titanfall will sell great but it won't move as many consoles as MS or it's fans would like. The X1 will certainly be the most entertaining console this month, but not because of it's games.

Seems like it is still available. Sold out at amazon.ca though. Ouya is leading at number one (Ouuuuuyaaa). Second position goes to Titanfall bunduru.

Edit: Ouya did so well that it just went out of stock.

PS4 is #1 by a huge amount of units... over 72 hours in this place... EPIC.
