Well a considerable amount will sell with the bundle. But we don't track those and they will certainly lessen the retail copies sold as people who would have bought a X1 will just get the digital copy bundle.

So ya, your being very sneeky here. ;)

We track them now, Look at knack in Japan they tracked every copy.

Just mark my words, Titanfall will surpass Killzone in 1 week. This is THE game all the gamers are waiting for. Don't know if it is going to move consoles but most xbox one owners will get this game.

What the heck....You serious?

Tracking Knack is easy as it's simply the number of PS4's sold. Other games are not the same.

It will sell A LOT more at retail, as indicated by the record preorders.

But with heavy bundles for both, its hard to tell. I think it has a shot.

I think VGC is heavily overtracking its preorders. I just dont see 1/4 of XB1 owners in us picking it up on launch week.

Yeah I can agree that Titanfall won't outsell Killzone. VG has it at 1.5m and Sony reported 2.1m for shipped+digital. I don't think Titanfall can sell to half the X1 install base at any point.

You do realize that the X1's install base will grow throughout the year, right? A game like Titanfall could still have decent weekly sales months from now assuming a steady chain of price drops. And imagine Titanfall included with Halo 2 Anniversary in a holiday bundle price at say $450 (with the Xbox One itself priced at $400).

Yes, so you think Titanfall can sell up to 5m in less than a year, on one particular platform, as a new IP?

If bundled for a long time then sure, no doubt, but a limited bundle and a potential price cut + big game at the end of the year wont sell more than 3m in less than a year.

Titanfall is going to be heavily bundled so who knows?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

So I made a different poll (which I admit was a little...trollish) comparing Knack and Titanfall...Yup...I apologise, I thought it would be fun, turns out it was, but still I apologise. So, the new poll - and one that is actually a very real possibility - Titanfall on Xbox One (and only on Xbox One) will fail to outsell Killzone: Shadow Fall on PlayStation 4.

With the recent announcement from Sony that Killzone: Shadow Fall has sold 2.1 million copies so far, I believe that it is a very real possibility that Titanfall will fail to outsell Killzone.

What do you guys think? And why?

Edit: I have answered the question myself, and please write a (RATIONAL) response as to why you believe what you do. Here is my response:

No, Titanfall will not outsell Killzone. Titanfall is a new IP whilst Killzone is an established franchise that is also bundles with the PlayStation 4 - a console/bundle that is still in high demand.

The Xbox One install base is not that high, meaning that at least 2/3 of current Xbox One owners will have to purchase the game for it to sell more than Killzone.

The Titanfall Beta was joined by 2 million players, spread across both Xbox One and PC, and some of those who participated will have decided against buying the game when it releases.

Of course it wont?

You've given most of the reasons yourself.  Even if we didn't include bundled KZ sales Titanfall X1 wouldn't beat it.

This is extremely obvious, I do not understand where all these threads with obvious predictions are coming from.
