stop using math on these people, they will just ignore it.

Heres some more for people who think it can match N64 numbers that I just thought of.

Nintendo is producing ~225k units a months. In order to match N64 it needs to start producing ~600k a month starting now. I suppose those people also think Sony can produce ~15m by March 31st too (hint they will only produce about 25% more. Not close to 300% more)

NOOOOO!!!!! (says anyone who really thinks Wii U can do 80 mil)

This new division what can I say. I was drunk last night.

well, I doubt Nintendo is going to lose hope on the Wii U anytime soon so I don't think Nintendo fans should either. So Wii U is suffering from a slow start, but who is to say Nintendo doesn't have big things planned to turn it around. We all have to have a little bit of faith.

PS3 suffered a slow start for about a year and a half, mostly because of it's ridiculous price...

And at this point in Ps3s life Sony had shipped 9.25m with only being out for a year in its strongest market (opposed to a year and a half elsewhere)

Scratch that, I was looking at the FY totals. The YTD totals was 12.85m. So.... more than twice as much at twice the price

the point I'm making is not the exact number sold, but the point I'm making is that (9.25 is still low btw) a console can be turned around from a bad start because it's happened before, a number of times.
