Forums - Nintendo - [Prophecy] Why is it that the Wii U sells like hot cakes? What´s Nintys Secret? OR- [The Glass is half full 80 million lts prophecy]

Hello readers and scanners,

My name is Vicuna, I live in the Andes and this is my first thread.

This morning I took a shower and was pretty emotional excited thinking about Donkey Kong and Princess Peach. Suddenly I heart a voice speaking in my head. First I thought that it might be Radio, Television or maybe some kind of implanted drone..., but then, suddenly I realized that it must be God speaking to me. The voice just repeated "Wii U minimum 80million lifetime sales, Wii U minimum 80million lts...

I ended my showersession and was pretty confused to be honest.., launched myself back onto my pillow castle.

But a few minutes later I could get some clear thoughts what the voice meant.

Here the facts:

Nintendo launched it´s console the Wii U

- at the highest price ever 350 Dollar or 350 Euro

- without any appealing games:  No Donkey Donk, no Mario Kart, no Zelda ( in fact just 6 months later a cheap Zelda remake), no Metroid, no F Zero, no Starfox, and so on..

- with a shitty cheap plastic Gamepad

- under the big confusion Wii Fit, Wii Sports, """Wii U""", Wii Balance Board, Wii Nunchuk, till today not every casual understood that Wii U is a complete new console

- with poor marketing in general

AND STILL, TODAY WE HAVE ABOUT 6 MILLION SHIPPED WII U CONSOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I keep reading that the WiiU is doomed, has lower sales than any other console ever crated and will soon be discontinued. I read predictions about LTS of 19 million, 21 million, 17 million and so on. How do these people make their predicions? They actually take the sold units and multiplicate them by the years they think the Wii U will be sold?

5,8 million X 3,5 years = 20,3 million life time sales?

or

6 million X 4 years = 24 million life time sales?

These people completly lost their ability to think about future game releases, price cuts, marketing efforts? lol

Whatever, I realized the voice in my head was not God´s. But he for sure was speaking to me,

So I preach to you now and here, about my "The Wii U will have a minimum of 80million sold units prophecy"

If you disagree with me, post your possible lowest predicions here into this thread, I will come back and laugh at you every time the WiiU brakes your prediction..

If you are with me, give some wisdom or holiness to my thread. ;)

AMEN

ps.

@ It´s a 80 million minimum life time sales prophecy. Every possible annoying comment made by little stalking piranhas on my wall concerning actual and future sales figures before the WiiU will be official discontinued by Nintendo themself -----> will be deleted withoug being read. :)

AMEN

You're no John Lucas.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I think the Wii U is speaking to you from the grave. It's haunting your thoughts.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

Still pondering if this is a joke thread or not.

OT: Why would you laugh at people when their minimum sales predictions are reached? That means they were right while yours is still unproven.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

80 million max is more like it.

Between 10 and 20 million minimum if nothing other than MK8 catches on and pushes the hardware.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Can we laugh at you if it does not reach 80million units?

Welcome to the forums.

Have you met John? He thinks a lot like you.

So, you've been in telephatic contact with John Lucas and he's turned you into his prophet.

Here, let me help you.

The OP does make some good points though. Up to this point, Wii U has been selling like this without any major advertising/marketing, few must have games, and the inevitable confusion of the product. Kind of impressive to say the least.
