In my opinion, DLC and Microtransactions have gone out of control lately and sometimes you only seem to get half a game. What do you think?

More like not too far enough. Just think of paying 99 cents just to get Mario to jump a little higher!

I don't mind DLC if it's good and it actually expands upon the main game with all-new and creative content, but on-disc DLC is just pathetic.
Microtransactions are OK I guess, as long as you can get all the stuff you can buy via playing the game as it's meant to - Which means said microtransaction are just a way for lazy players/player with not enough time can fasten up their progress. Exclusive content or consumable "Pay 2 win"-level microtransactions are just shameful.

doesnt concern me if the game is only half and i dont really enjoy no dlc buy but if its a game that i enjoy and have fun i may think about buying the dlc

Imagine paying 2 dollars to make the boobs much bigger in games like Dead or Alive or SoulCalibur. Tecmo and Namco would never go bankrupt.

Proper DLC is fine in my opinion. But microtransactions inside full priced games like Dead Space 3 and Forza 5 is ridiculous. I don't want to spend £50/$60 on a game for it to pester me to spend more inside the game itself. I have FTP android games for that experience.

Meh. I have yet to play a game where the DLC makes it more worth playing so I don't think I'm missing out on something.

Well of course except for Serah's bikini. Best purchase ever.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'm liking Ground Zeroes approach. For $30, I'm willing to give most reasonably good game a shot for a few hours. If it's something I like a lot, I never mind paying $60 into the game total.

The pay-to-win setup disgusts me though. Ascend: Hand of Kul (360) was one of this worst offenders of this IMO.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Yes, definitely.

It's a game to game basis, but I'd say a few have.
