Nintendo's E3 2014...

No conference, only Nintendo Direct 68 32.08%

... I have learned. Modest hype this time 59 27.83%

Hype throught the roof 58 27.36%

My hype like the Wii U sales, null 25 11.79%

Total:210

I think this will be kind of a transitionary E3 for Nintendo where they'll show off the final big wave of Wii U and 3DS titles.

E3 2015 is where you will see a definitive shift in the company.

If that happens I hope they send off these sytems guns blazing.

Predictions for this E3 2014 at the Nintendo side.

1. Hyrule Warrios information. Release date August-September.

2. Bayonneta 2 info + new trailer. Release date October.

3. X Monolith Soft title official announcement. Delayed. Please Understand.

4. Yarn Yoshi new infomartion and footage. Holiday 2014 - 2015 title (between november - february 2015).

5. NFC toys. Dissapointmenton.

6. New Metroid announcement. 3DS. Dissapointmenton. (already a thread for this one).

7. No information on new Retro's project.

8. There won't be more droughts (hahahahahaha).

Enough with the safe predictions. Now with the crazy ones:

9. Even less third party games. Indies a lot.

10. No info on the annual Assassin's Creed for Wii U. Ubisoft deadly silent.

11. No info on COD for Wii U. Announced during the week if it goes or not for the console.

12. New 3DS addon or revision.

13. A little tidbits of the next generation.

14. Another Zelda remake announced. Twilight Princess HD. October - November title.

15. Animal Crossing U announced. Coming next spring.

16. And finally, NO Zelda HD announcement. Useless excuses like all these years.

Feel free to discuss, debunk, support or post your own predictions.

I'm not aware of any console (V-Boy excluded) that Nintendo didn't release an original Zelda game on.

Otherwise I agree with everything else

I predict they will show Zelda HD just like they said they would

I'm expecting them to backtrack about it. Then they will say "there are a lot of games coming. We wanted to show you, but because X we cannot did"

Zelda HD will be announced at E3 2015 for Wii U. Then delayed, launch title for the Wii U succesor and silently canned for Wii U.

It seems you expect everything bad to happen from Nintendo. E3 will be much better than last years, as Nintendo has learned they need to improve marketing and advertise.

It's not about expecting them to do only bad things. But last time TP worked a lot better than Skyward Sword.

For them it's better go full on board on the next console as the Wii U is already dry. A Zelda 2015 won't help, in fact, it will be a big waste potential. Better release at launch on the succesor and hype throught the roof. Same expected for Retro's new game.

They will release Hyrule Warriors, maybe MM3D and TPHD during 2014-2015 and it will be enough Zelda for them.

At this point a big Zelda for U is just wasting money in a sinked ship. Better use it for a great launch. Iwata will surely explains it telling investors Wii U was a transtition console where they learned about HD development and because of that developed new tools for better and faster production between handheld and console.

I'll honestly be ok with this.

I actually would be alright with this, IF they give Twilight Princess the treatment that Wind Waker received. Maybe even Skyward Sword too.
They could make the next Zelda a launch game for the next console and it could be HUGE.

1doesnotsimply

14 and 16 have a 0% chance of coming true. I don't need to explain 14, and It's obvious Zelda U will be announced at E3 2014 for holiday 2015, and delayed for Zelda's 30th anniversary on holiday 2016 (Still on Wii U. It's ridiculous to think there won't be a Zelda on Wii U)

Im pretty sure they already announced it would be shown at E3

I know.

So u think they lied?

No. Simply expecting them to delay. The 30th anniversary like Nintentacle will fit even more in my prediction for release date.

Maybe I didn't specify but they will show enough games to fill the time for the ND or conference-

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

I think they should just release it in 2015, and just focus on Metroid for the 30th anniversary.

Let's see how the game turns out. I wasn't impressed with Soma Bringer (but I only played for 2 hours)...

I'm thinking something big is coming in Japan. 3DS sales are only 50% as strong as they were last year, while Vita is 50% up! What a redesign can do....

Yoshi Yarn
Zelda Wii U
Final Fantasy remake/remaster

Well Pavo...there were a lot of things right in this prediction.
