Am I the only one that the 960x1080 doesn't make sense to at all D: I mean... this totally sounds like a splitscreen mode in terms of resolution...

hmmm. Wonder how MSG GZ is able to maintain 1080p 60fps on PS4 with extras like dynamic weather. That Fox engine must be really good for the console then.
Maybe MS should make a patch to make every 1280x720/1600x900 become 720x1080/900x1600
See,we get 1280p and 1600p games now

Do you expect anyone here to take your word, based on naked eye observation, over that of a tech analysis site?
I just looked at it again and now it looks all shoddy and dull.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
Oh no! People start to understand that more stuff happening = more resources used = lower resolution to keep fps and smooth gameplay!
Shocking!
We'd all rather have the best resolution, right?
It's only funny because of that guy who has to throw the game out of the window now because “only native 1080p“ is acceptable but still played the multiplayer the last weeks and months.
Well, that Sony guy that said "Two thing we will heard on PS4 is 1080 and 60" was right in half the point.
+ Tomb Raider DE on PS4 is also a exemple that one would have to sacrifice some thing to achieve locked 60fps.
