Shame we never got an expanded version of the space mode. It had so much potential.

Once EA figures out a way to put microtransactions in it, we will.

At first I thought the OP made a typo but that wasn't the case.

I came here for that reason (believing the OP made a typo) and thinking "wow, I didn't even know that a new Spore game was being made". 

It seems we have a prominent necromancer on the forums.

Anyway, it still hasn't dropped to a reasonable price on GOG over nine years after release. I'm still waiting.
