Sink or Swim, Final Fantasy and why

Swim because I love Final Fantasy.

Even though the last few games have been a sink, due to the way they handle the franchise (well, till this X-2, and XII-2 came about) it can always improve on the last with an injection of a new story that pulls people in

Well it's all going to be better than say FF 13, the multiplat just killed that game bc it had to be limited bc of the 360s dvd architecture. The xb1 isn't limited in this manner, and both Ff 14 &15 look great anyway. Swim.

I vote sink. The franchise has been pretty lackluster  ever since the PS2 days and I am kinda doubtful that XV is going to do much to change its image.

Swim. I don't want it to sink, and I hope the sales of FFX Remaster will show them how much their fans love their old games, and maybe they'll realize they should start to make games like these again.

The XIII trilogy is a disgrace, really. It's pretentious in its storytelling, the characters are forgettable, the OSTs are average, the combat system is also kinda bad, they are shorter, etc...

But when I see games like Bravely Default, I really hope old school RPGs will come back in force.

Please Square Enix, whatever you do with FF XV, please come back to your basics. AND STOP PORTING GAMES ON ANDROID AND iOS, GODDAMMIT (especially when you add microtransactions, seriously, what the f*ck)
