It was a joke between the user Kitler and me, the former asking me somewhere in this thread that I should add a target (refering to the amount of sales I thought MK8 would get). That image was my reply. 
This is a gold mine. From those of us that understimated MK8 to those that overestimated Wii U.

Well I like someone who at least admits their own mistakes.
Never underestimate Mario Kart. Mario Kart Wii sold 35 million copies. 35 million copies. Total insanity, especially when you consider how many casuals owned the Wii. Mario Kart 8 was obviously going to have a higher attach rate than Mario Kart Wii. Once you figure that out then unless you thought Wii U would sell under 10 million lifetime, this was inevitable. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
Despite not being good news for you, it is definitely good news for Nintendo, as it's well deserved!

Yeah. I'm guessing this is a franchise that will never stop moving such huge amount of copies.
