Kinect 2 works as much as the first one, the voice commands are quirky, the Cloud isn't bringing anything to gaming for now (the Drivatar is a joke), the apps are the same as on PS4, but hey, you can watch TV.

Don't see how that is "wow" worthy. A differing opinion sure, but you gotta admit he has a point with wanting a new generation to offer something new. Nintendo is doing their thing, Xbox is promoting a upgraded Kinect that integrates your whole entertainment center, and PS4......has better looking games?

Not Sonys fault, they do what the people want. Its gamers that are too closed minded. Hate change, entitlement, etc etc.

The PS4 is cheaper. That's why its doing so well. Why do gamers hate change?

That's another thing all together that goes into the psychological. Gaming represents youth and escape from mundacity of life. Change represents growing up and life moving forward, which many are not mentally capable of accepting. I'm talking deep subconscious stuff, just my take.

He doesn't have a point. Tv in and snap are the only major things XBONE has over PS4 and he didn't even mention them. Kinect 2 is better than the ps4 camera, but they still do the same things. Cloud is on both systems. Heck XBONE's cloud is even on both systems. Voice control is on both systems. Best apps is true but PS4 still has the apps. If he was saying why XBONE was better, then I'd agree with his points.

Change for change's sake is an awful strategy. The Wii U controller espouses this. 

And doing something new in itself deserves no praise, only doing something new that is also good. Nintendo could release a controller you have to control with your butt and fart noises, that's new, but it isn't something worth praising. I'm still waiting on that killer Kinect app to make it good as well as new, 3 years later. Well, actually, seeing as its had 3 years on the market I don't think Kinect counts as new either, no matter how many more menus you can navigate with it than the old one. 

I'm anticipating that PS VR headset. Oculus beat them to it, but hasn't hit the mass market yet in any way, so that could be something truly new and good for gaming.

Innovations offered by MS and Ninny aren't just that great. Bring world class software to kinect 2.0 and then we can think.

Edit: end it's not Sony's fault most people prefer to play with controller and buttons. I'm one of them.
