Isn't the price cut only in the UK?

I can't but get a feeling that says "I knew the xbox was just for FPS players! AHA!" when MS is hypothetically putting all their eggs in one basket. Obviously, they have other strategic approaches to boost sales but you get the point.

This move will certainly will it up with FPS fans and people just looking for an incentive to buy an Xbox One.

Microsoft already has the online FPS crowd. How about showing those who play single player games a little love? We don't pay for gold so we're not as valued, I guess.

I expect maybe double the usual XB1 sales for a week or two and then back to normal.

Is Titanfall exclusive to just the XboxOne? I think with this game we can draw the same parallels as with the 3DS and WiiU crossover games, the xbox version will limit the one sales no matter how hard Microsoft tries to deny that version exist.

It will help them but I am not sure it'll buy them good sales for months to come.
There's an Xbox version around soon enough.

Is the pricecut actually for every One or just for this bundle?

It's going to help. It will be a good launch week for Titanfall, it's going to move a fair share of hardware, and the baseline of the XO will start to see some movement upwards. Outside of Halo, this is pretty much what the XO needed right now.

There are a LOT of people out there who haven't jumped generations yet. They're looking for reasons.

In UK it's £399 permanently. So getting Titanfall for free like every other country.

But the cut is restricted to just the UK?

I was wondering how MS is going to deal with all the pre-orders they had from countries it hasn't released in yet. I mean if I had to pay full price while i could pick up an xbox now for less with Titanfall...

People seem to forget that Microsoft also threw in FIFA 14 or Forza 5 for free at a lot of retailers, and that also barely helped them.

I wouldn't say Microsoft has the online FPS Crowd. BF4 and CoD Ghosts sold better on PS4 than on XB1, and for CoD the difference between Xbox 360 and PS3 sales shrink every year.
