Forums - Nintendo - Hacking group claims to have discovered wii u homebrew exploit

Members of Wii U Hax have found an exploit in the Wii U. The exploit can be found in the system’s Wii Mode and from there you can apparently gain access to the Wii U hardware. This exploit can’t be patched by Nintendo through updates, the only way they can fix it is hardcoding the hardware itself. The exploit will supposedly allow you to access homebrew.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It takes years for these hackers to perfect the hacks and wean out the bugs. No point getting on board atm.

Looking forward to more news on this.

I'm seriously starting to believe Sh1nn is a robot.

OT: only time will tell if this is true or not, I remember a lot of hackers saying they were able to hack the 3DS and so far nothing (as far as I know at least), as well as the Wii U. The Wii U is moving faster than the 3DS in terms of hacking, so who knows really.

In any case, it will take a while for a real easy to use hack to be available for the Wii U.

imagine WiiU games being pirated left and right?
LOL
SW sales would be even more disastrous...

This would reduce software sales, but probably provide a small boost to hardware sales, haha
