Wait... so there is single player, but requires online?

I was actually kind of interested in this game and now I just wish it bombs so fucking hard EA will have to use oil rigs to salvage whats left.

This. This is what Sony was saying all along with it being a choice for publishers/developers. And if a game requires online for single player than its a lot easier avoiding those games than a system built around.

So, this is a non issue to me

Titanfall has to connect to Live. It cant be played offline! Its a MP Game. ROFL.

It's an online multi-player game. Would be nice if it has a single player mode so I can learn how to play. But otherwise, like they said like WoW or any other MMO/on-line multi-player.

Also, it seems this is more of an anti-cheating measure than DRM. Not to mention an unavoidable byproduct of being uh.. you know, a MP game. Was MAG's online only gameplay DRM? No, it was a MP game.

How? If a game has a singleplayer mode then it should be an option to play it offine.
