Went to pick up a copy at a big retailer. Didn´t see any. Most likely sold out as they always get games on launch day.
Went to another store. Didn`t have any. Can`t garantee they got the game.

Today I just bought my copy. Been heard great reviews about the difficulty of this game. Can't wait. Hope this will sell the same as its predecessor

But....cookies!  Actually, I usually buy new.  Still shrink wrapped like 90% of the time.  They have tried to sell me a used game as new before.  The worst incident was when two kids were playing Freedom Fighters for the Gamecube on the demo unit in Savannah, Ga.  The guy took the game out of the console as they were playing it, put it in a case and tried to charge me full price!  I just walked out of the store.

Went to get one at ebgames, out of stock, went out of ebgames and cursed Cranky...

But yea, this is awesome!!! Looks like its selling well atm

Hell here in Argentina I've even seen PS4 in stock the whole time from the beginning, even when everyone was talking that you couldn't find it "literally" anywhere on stock.

Came back from work in the evening. Stop by a few places; they are sold out at my local Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and Kmart.

EDIT: Forgot to add, one of the Bestbuy employees I talked to mentioned "There's sure alot of people buying a Wii U for this Donkey Kong game today, I'm feeling to grab me a copy and see what's up."

Yea he did! He clearly hyped the game to the level of Jizz at VGX with his reveal leading more people to get the game before me... The only time I don't pre-order a Nintendo game too, FUUU :(
