Have you looked at the sales figures yet Selnor, PS4 outsold XBO 2:1 last month in the US. PS4 is absolutely destroying them in Europe. People have completely rejected Microsoft's "vision" and now their new console is selling almost as poorly as the WiiU. Sony's "vision" this gen was to make better hardware and better games. And it's working out great. It's a straight ahead upgrade from the PS3, like the NES to SNES, or the PS1 to the PS2. I suppose the PS2 and SNES were poor consoles in your eyes as well? 

And Sony wasn't the one "reacting" to their competitors this gen and sacrificing their "vision". That was Microsoft when they completely changed their original idea for the console and basically made it a straight ahead upgrade of the 360. Except they bundled Kinect for very little and rather stupid reasons. The XBO is a stronger 360 with Kinect bundled. I'm not sure how that's innovative in the slightest. How is the PS brand going to be in trouble when they're absolutely wrecking XBO this gen? This isn't even a close fight anymore. Look at the sales figures if you don't believe me.

A stronger launch but it's stabilized far lower than what the PS3 was at the same point and time. Even though it costs a $100 more.

The Xbox One is doing well.  And next month they have THE major game of the next gen launching.  The PS4 is doing well, why doesn't that make you happy?

Huh? So it's perfectly fine for Selnor to spread FUD about PS brand dying off because they're not following their own "vision" even though they're winning this gen, but I can't dare call him out on it? Selnor's reasoning for PS brand was ludicrous that I decided to respond. He could have debated it with me and there would have been no hurt feelings. Except for yours for some reason. It was first found in 2012, but supposedly it's from 2010. This made the document "predict" 2011 perfectly. Also apparently Microsoft ordered a few websites to take it down so people used that as proof it was real.

On the other hand, 2012 and on are full of horrible inaccuracies. Are they just because things changed, or was this fake all along?

I'm hear to read and share about Fortzaleza and the 2012 leak.  And new tech.  Instead it's getting swamped up in people that have no interest in the Xbox and are worried about their preferred game platform.

I'm not worried about PS4, clearly you're more worried about XBO considering you keep arguing with me about it. 

Actually, no the PS3 was way, way behind the Xbox One at this point.  Plus next month is a big game launch.  Nothing big happened in Feb and it's after the holidays.  It's a traditionally slow time. 

Please check the numbers, the PS4 was tracking WELL above the XBO during the Q1 launch. Though I'm not surprised to see you spreading false information considering you keep doing it. 

Personally, I thik Selnor is a bit generous in his view. I don't think the PS will be doing as well as he think it will in 5 years.  Sony made a short term judgment that I think will cost them in the long term.  Their hope it to get enough units out.  Time will show how well that works or doesn't for them.  I know they didn't have the sales in Japan they were expecting.  So we shall see.

Here's that FUD again... You have yet to explain why PS4 is in so much trouble. You completely ignore sales figure just spout ridiculous claims over and over again. I'm not even going to bother showing you the numbers because you just ignore me every time. But now we see MIcrosoft getting desperate with early pricedrops and giving their biggest game away for free. I don't see PS4 making any moves out of desperation... And they sold 322k in Japan out of a 350k shipment. I think they sold exactly what they were expecting. But no, continue ignoring facts and sales as always.

Wouldn't 'Forward Unto Down' the Halo TV series be part of the Hero Content for 2012?  Not sure where you are getting 2012 inaccuracies as most of it is just promotion. 

Judging how the new Oculus Riff added lights and is using something like a Kinect device I think we will have to wait to E3 to find out.  It could be really interesting.  

The Xbox One already has invisible IR LED's in the controller.  Probably the glasses will have something like that too.   Those glasses could be really, really cool.  I hope we see something about it.  It could really bring a new layer of virtual reality to people's homes.

I think the glasses are real, but not sure when they will be ready to be seen.

At the end of Jan the PS3 had sold a measly 1.6 million units.  That is well, well below the Xbox One.  Actually millions behind.

Read what I posted. I said the PS3 was selling better during Q1 after launch than the XBO. My point was that the PS3 stablized higher than the XBO, but continue to ignore me and put words into my mouth. 

Sony is a desperate financial situation.  This is fact. 

I know that, and I also know that it makes you very happy. You're constantly posting about Sony's financial status, you even seem to take joy in it. I'm assuming this is because you want the XBO to win so badly that you don't mind if 100,000 people lose their jobs and a company goes bankrupt. You even posted that Macroaxis article about Sony having a 78% chance of going bankrupt on my wall simply because I called you out on derailing a thread and making everything a console war. Funny thing is that Macroaxis lowered their percentage and Sony is now at 47% rather than 78%. Though I'm sure that makes you very unhappy. 

You expect Sony to go bankrupt. I expect them to turn things around and PS4 will continue to dominate this gen. Good luck. 

Selling PlayStation 4 is losing them money by their own records.  They are hoping to make money on software. 

PS4 is actually making quite a bit of money considering their gaming division profited during a console launch which didn't even happen with the PS2. Once again, stop ignoring facts and spreading FUD. 

Fortaleza is a Microsoft research project.  Sony doesn't have Fortazela.

All the rumors have been pointing to Sony making their own VR tech, not Microsoft.
