Here is a year old thread on our own site talking about it: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=154671&page=1

Here's a full link to the 56 page document. Worth a read http://www.gameinformer.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer-Components-SiteFiles/images-news-xbox720/xbox720doc.pdf

It was first found in 2012, but supposedly it's from 2010. This made the document "predict" 2011 perfectly. Also apparently Microsoft ordered a few websites to take it down so people used that as proof it was real.

On the other hand, 2012 and on are full of horrible inaccuracies. Are they just because things changed, or was this fake all along?

Wouldn't 'Forward Unto Down' the Halo TV series be part of the Hero Content for 2012?  Not sure where you are getting 2012 inaccuracies as most of it is just promotion.

Judging how the new Oculus Riff added lights and is using something like a Kinect device I think we will have to wait to E3 to find out.  It could be really interesting.

The Xbox One already has invisible IR LED's in the controller.  Probably the glasses will have something like that too.   Those glasses could be really, really cool.  I hope we see something about it.  It could really bring a new layer of virtual reality to people's homes.

I think the glasses are real, but not sure when they will be ready to be seen.

No I don't think so. Later on in the doc for 2012 it says:

"Broad Entertainment Portfolio: Linear TV, Apps, Hero Content,Web;
2-way interactive TV applications

Interactive TV on your Xbox"

Hero content is listed separate from Linear TV, and it really seems to be talking about TV on XBOX, not Microsoft on TV.

The 2012 inaccuracies are:

1.Launch Xbox Pay TV service (New B2B Distribution Channel) on 3 screens
2.Launch Low Cost Xbox 360 (Xbox 361)
3.Solve Home Networking + Content Passthrough

1.Xbox 361: Low cost Xbox 360
2.NUI Remote for TV experiences
3.HD Homerun + HDMI Pass Through + Home Networking

1.Games for core and broad (Kinect)
2.XTV Pay TV Service: Full Screen TV @1080P, Overlays (VC +Full Screen) @720P
3.Hero 1st Party Content
4.Additional Web/OTT content

3.New Live Tiers

Lots of this stuff really sounds like the XBONE.

Also nothing in the doc is about tracking the VR glasses. That's probably what they'd do if they release something, but the doc doesn't even imply it.

One of the big reasons why I am still skeptical is the hardware page for XBONE.

It's just so different than what the system really ended up being. In a business plans change all the time which can explain everything else being wrong, but hardware plans can't just change on a dime.
