Already been answered but, yeah - PS2.

as much as I own a Vita and not a wii u it is the failing of the Wii-u which makes me sadder.

The vita's issues are part of the system itself from it's idiotic rear touch pad to it's giant fingerprint attracting screen, its main issues could almost all have been identified by someone picking up the prototype of it and trying to play it for a while.
The wii-u getting the short end of the stick from 3rd parties and absolutely blindsiding nintendo when it comes to how much extra work is needed to make HD games for a system it really has done nothing that wrong as a system by itself, I want to buy one, I want people to actually look at games like Mario 3d World, X and Bayonetta 2 and see that the machine is more than capable of throwing around more polygons than you can shake a stick at.... but it wont happen I fear.

Not speaking for him, but there are plenty of us who don't like the Wii and Wii U who do/did like Nintendo. The same goes for DS/3DS

It wasn't until Wii/DS that Nintendo jumped the shark for many of us. Before then there was no Blue Ocean shit, before then Nintendo did small moves. With the DS shit they made a big move, same with the Wii. True enough there were plenty of people who loved the crap out of it. Some of us did not.

It used to be that Nintendo made small moves, giving us time to give feed back and say what was good and bad, _and_ allowing us to enjoy their games. These days they make huge changes to the foundation of how they make games, alienating many of us who used to like their stuff.

Stop buying into the bullshit notion that people who disagree with you are mindless haters. Sometimes people don't like the same things you like for legitimate resions.

At least the Wii U is getting games from Nintendo. It's a damn shame the Vita is not getting more support, for the West that is.

This statement is retarded, Im a nintendo fan but definitely love playing  other systems(My Favorite FPS Halo, and too many to count for PS Titles like FF+KH), so there's that. Maybe something you dont kno but im saying this to somebody that is a mindless hater So pls dont call me out on something you obviously dont kno, thank you!

Sorry for lumping you into a demographic I have seem time and time again. I just wanted to make it clear that there are plenty of us who don't like what Nintendo is doing these days, but have liked them in the past, and are willing to like them in the future, when they cater to things we enjoy. I've just seen too much hate on this site, plenty of it directed at NIntendo for mindless reasons, and then it gets recipricated by Nintendo fans the same way, and and I am sick of it. 

The Wii U is the weakest console of its generation. I still think the market is being too harsh on it, but 3rd will be deserved.

Vita on the other hand is the best piece of hardware on the handheld market. On normal conditions, the 3DS still might have the edge overall due to its fantastic 1st party titles, but the Vita should follow closely. It just happens that nobody wants it, because of that it gets no support and because of that nobody wants it, and because of that...

At some point you still have to consider the library. The only area where GC won was in terms of power but the fight never even got to "power" stage because of the PS2 library.
