That's either a really bad blur effect or the textures are really a bit weak.

Where?  On the corner of the wall? Because I notice the texture there is really bad, but is likely like that because it's unfinished, obviously. :-p

But if that's not what you are talking about then I don't know because I think the textures look damn good other than that spot.

It's pretty much in every frame. Try and stop at any second in the video and you will see them. But thanks to the heavy post processing and general dirty grey look of everything it's less noticable. Still, it could be just really bad LOD because it gets better when you get closer.

Ah, I'll take a look.  I wouldn't put it past just being LOD problem like you said.  Especially if the textures look better once closer.

Gameplay is nothing new so far I'll wait for more previews.

I now somehow miss Winback: Covert Operations.

And lol at this thread, always funny to see gamers go nuts over graphics. Does anyone care about what lies beyond the visuals ? Like GAMEplay and such.

Don't you know? Games this generation are judged by their resolution and graphics... the rest doesn't matter!

Can't wait to see more of it though. Hope they release an artbook.

It can be exciting just to see the tech improvements on new hardware, whilst having zero interest in a specific title that showcases it. Good gameplay exists and we'll see it again, for now it's early days and many are intrigued by the level of visual fidelity we can come to expect for years to come. I'm interested in this title, so gameplay will be very important to me, but at this stage I just want to see shiny beautiful mustaches and fabric that moves realistically in HD, with boat loads of effects.

Winback: Covert Operations (or Operation Winback as it was called in Europe) was atrocious, but it had a strange appeal to it. You mentioning it brings back some fun memories.

Looks promising, buying this day one probably!

Hmmm Sony sure do love putting zombies in their games these days. Symbolism for their fanbase perhaps?

I can bet it is monsters like Vampires or Werwolf... no zombies at all.

Zombies didn't exist in the time before George Romero.
