Any value Sony would have to Nintendo would be lost to Nintendo's overreaching desire for control and preferential treatment to its own IP, in short, what would happen is the same that happens with Nintendo consoles, 3rd party would drop it like a rock and it would be flooded with shovelware

it not gonna happen. If the worst situation happen (i.e. sony bankrupt, ofcourse), they gonna sell the game division to another firm, not NINTENDO :v

In that scenario, they will sell to the highest bidder.  They don't care who it is at that point.

LoL, you may be right, but I don''t think financial status of Nintendo dont allow them to become the highest bidder, plus they dont have enough reason to acquire Sony game division :)
