Overall the numbers are bad for everyone. But we have to take in consideration if Sony/MS are still facing supply issues.

I think march is going to fare better for PS4/Xbone thanks to TitanFall, Infamous and Metal Gear.

140k without Japan and with supply issues is good.

( and only Sony is facing supply issues)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

PS4 is on a freaking roll. After the Japan launch we should see 250K or more every week. Looks like they will have well over 500k consoles for launch in Japan.

Will be interesting to see how things go once Live TV, VOD, PPV, and PSNow hit the US in the summer. Add on E3, Gamescom, and TGS which should be packed with game announcements, and PlayStation looks like it has a massive amount of content to push this gap even further.

I really doubt PS4 will sell more than 20K weekly in Japan.

P.S.3 more than Xbox1 that's proof that Xbox1 is dropping off

more people want P.S.4 than Xbox1

I'm glad I chose P.S.4

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Well that's some positive thinking there. A price cut will always help. But I don't think you should delude yourself that sales will be strong after a price cut.

I also recall a lot of PS3 fans getting laughed at for making almost exactly that statement.

Too late, I'm certain price cuts will help significantly. I can't be blamed how you interpret that statment.

Okay, well I guess I was among those people getting laughed at for having common sense.

An announcement of releasing in new territories must be imminent from Microsoft. It's clear that demand has been met in every market it has released in, there are Xboxs on the shelves everywhere. They could hold back at least 100k units per week without sales suffering and launch in all the other territories that Sony have by late March or early April, given how small most of those countries are.

Can't say i never saw that coming. PS4 ahead by a huge amount now with the PS3 creeping up from behind. The wiiu and Xb1 brand have become so insignificant this gen. Same were beasting last gen.
Clearly next gen nintendo and Ms will have to launch cheaper and way before Sony if they are serious about gaining a decent market share.
TitanFall has its work cut out in the USA, although i don't see anything turning the tide in EU.

3DS is on top! But I guess no one really cares right? Fuck handheld consoles.

Oh wow at the PS4 to X1 gap. Really was not expecting that. Even after E3! Still think the US will be Xbox land when all things said and done.

At least Bravely Default had a passable-ish opening.
