Beats me. I really don't care about the game since I have zero interest in handegg but it's a great attempt at trolling EA and for that I hope it's real.

still think it is a hoax

This is freaking hilarious, fake or real.

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

it must be fake, they are trying to call hand egg... football.

"What about past development experience?" - Evasive answer. 1 anonymous developer + 1 anonymous artist/animator, even 1 voice actor has been approached.

If the programmer is talented but unexperienced, an American Football game is a huge undertaking. Many rules have to be implemented and each member of the own and the opposite team has to follow all these rules and has to react to the actions of the player and all other NPCs. The artist and the voice actor can't much help in that area.

I doubt that 1 person can program such a complex KI (and the whole game around it) in a mere year... perhaps an other form of sport with simpler rules and less players were a better decision for a first game. There would also have to be a big amount of animations... many more than in most other simulated sports. Sure, they can hire more and more people to work on the game and build a big team... but which budget do they have for their "self-funded project"?

So is it all a hoax and the name/concept "Mad Men Football" was chosen for the same reason as "AE Games"... because it sounds similar to "Madden Football" and "EA Games"? Or is it a legit project and they chose a fast and complex sport for their first game? Ockham's razor says hoax.

Hahah, please let this be real!

More like AMC Games.
