There is no doubt that I will eventually buy a Wii U.  The reason I am yet to do so is because there are not enough games to make it worth it for me, yet.  That will immediately change with the release Mario Kart 8 (May 30, 2014) and Super Smash Brothers for Wii U (Later 2014).  Yes, these two games are enough to keep me occupied.  Of course I'll get more later on, but those two will be enough for a while.

I would like a to see a Wii U price cut before I buy one, because I like money.  However, I don't know how long it will be before the Wii U has another price cut, being we had one rather recently in September, correct me if I'm wrong.  

So my question to the forum is would I be better off waiting for a price cut, risking that I may wait a very long time when I could be playing games, or if I should just buy it as soon as MK8 and/or SSBU comes out, risking that I may spend more money than necessary?

In other words, when do think the Wii U will have its next price cut?

If MK8 sells well there won't be a price cut soon. Iwata said there won't be a price cut but that's what he said last year, too. So the situation has to become even worse for a price cut. So let's see^^

There will be some sort of price cut this year. Probably sooner rather than later considering it's down YOY in the US and Japan.

I'm hoping for a Wii U Smash Bro bundle with a redesigned Wii U and Game Pad this year. That would be awesome.
