Sony can't outbid MS especially since they recently lost another $1,1 billion.

Just because you keep repeating this nonsense doesn't make it true...

nonsense?  explain.

Well, while the statement is true in the long run, it lacks detail, is basically the point.  The 1.1B loss is forecasted over the next year, not a single day.

Errr... nope.

It is forecast by March 2014 (a few weeks from now) for the year to March 31st 2014.  This isnt for the next year, its for the current fiscal year.

Ok, point still stands though, it's the losses accrued over a years time, not just for March 31st 2014.  I simply had the timeframe mixed up.

If EA have the next COD on their hands then we all know console exclusivity will greatly hurt it from ever compeating with COD.
On the XB1 alone the most they can hope for are Halo or Gears like numbers.
COD on both ps3 and xb360 would sell 15 million+, compare to Gears or Halo selling anywhere between 4-10 million.
Why have 4-10 million on 1 console when you can have 12-20 million on 2 consoles?
EA/Respawn knows what's up, MS can't pay them enought to keep TitanFall. Just a waiting game at this point.

As if Sony needs to outbid Microsoft! The succes of the PS4 means Microsoft automatically has to bid way more to keep it exclusive.

The game is absolutely incredible and the more people who can play it the mo betta.

That said.. uh, wtf? MS and EA have a deal in place. That deal is either for the entirety of Titanfall's existence (which is what all 3 parties EA, MS, and Respawn have said), or it could be timed exclusive (which is more likely). If it's a timed exclusive, there's nothing Sony can "try hard" with to get the game coming any sooner. It will be there whenever the exclusive deal is up. Sony can't give EA 50 million bucks to make it come 3 months sooner, because then MS would go after EA.

If it's a complete exclusive, then Sony is still wasting their time. With Mass Effect, we don't know if EA and MS came to an agreement that allowed them to put Mass Effect on PS3, or if there was a long time clause in the contract that passed. Either way, there's no way MS allows EA to put Titanfall on the PS platforms unless they really make it worth their while. And if it's some time clause thing, by the time that passes, Titanfall 2 will be out and no one will give any fucks about Titanfall.

If Black Ops were 360 exclusive, and then 3 years later the deal ends, would a Black Ops on PS3 release even be a big deal? No, because you'd have MW3/Blops 2/Ghosts already out.

Gee guys, can´t you let MS have this one? I don´t want the One to become a Dreamcast =/

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

It's better for the industry if Sony breaks the microsoft  deal and get TF on PS3/PS4

ask me why.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Just read the article http://www.businessinsider.com/sony-warns-of-11-billion-loss-2014-2.  Sony is a long way off from being profitable on a consistent basis and when it comes to making high quality electronics they can not surpass Samsung and LG.  Not only do those two South Korean giants make better electronics they also make a wider variety of electronics.

The fact is that the rather terse Sony press release about the $1.1b loss can be read in various ways. Note that the TV sector has not been outsourced yet, and it isn't clear whether the Vaio business part has been sold already (Sony still makes pcs at this time). So this could mean:

1.  Sony will show a loss of $1.1b in its fy report (because stuff has been going downhill in this 4th quarter). It isn't even clear from the pr release whether $1.1b corresonds to 4th quarter only or the entire fy.

2. Sony will show a loss of $1.1b because of the separation costs incured with the sale of the pc business and outsourcing of the tv business (by March 2015).

I can't really see number 1 being true unless they have recently found more skeletons in the basement.

You were wrong and what he said makes sense, whether it matters or not.
