Hire more devs, stop keeping teams small and underpaid, put out some games in a timely manner.

Why do you think they are underpaid? If they were small, shouldn't each person get more money?

I would drop the bombs at E3? ^^

But seriously I think there are not so many options. The 3rd parties are away and I think the developers do what they can. A possibility is to spend money for new games from other developers but that is too late for games which should be released early 2014. So I would start another NES Remix project and release it in April and organize a Nintendo Direct hoping nobody will see that there are not enough games.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

It's like being back in high school where there's a major project due tomorrow that I haven't even started working on yet. Usually I just said fuck it and went to sleep. Not sure if that strategy would work here though.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Here is what I think the line up should have looked like for this year.

Feb-Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

April-Mario Kart 8

June-Super Smash Bros U

This trifecta of games along with Super Mario 3D World last November consists of some of Nintendo's biggest and most consistant selling series (every game in these series has sold over 5 million with they exception of DKC3) all releasing in an 8 month span. This would likely get any Nintendo fan who hasnt gotten a Wii U yet to jump on board, giving Wii U a very strong first half of the year.

Now that the install base has gone up by a solild margin and baseline sales have increased its time to release the more hardcore niche franchises. In the Summer months release Bayonetta 2 and X but dont just send them out to die. Have TV spots on Spike TV and during Adult Swim.

For the last quarter release Hyrule Warriors and Yarn Yoshi plus the mega hyped NFC title, either Pokemon or a Skylanders esque game using Nintendo characters. Advertise the hell out of it and make it the must have game for children during the holidays.

Back in 2006 / 2007 most of the ps3 fans were living in dreams. Now the table has turned. Now a days most nintendo fans live in dreams.

This is just a "what would you do" thread. Seriously, it's not anything more.

OT: I would go back in time and slap the man who said, "Yeah! That's a good idea! Let's get the production of the Wii U rolling." Which means I would probably be slapping myself.

If I am Iwata I would say "Nintendo fans (the remaining ) love me- all I have to do is say we will not be releasing any games on the Wii U for the next 2 years because we want to take the time to make sure they meet our standard for excellence and our fans will praise me for making great games. while they wait they can buy the 1 vc game we release a week for 3 times their worth" I can kick them, shit on them and lie to them and they still love me and nintendo

I'd probably threaten everyone with a sequel to Star Fox Adventures unless everyone buys the Wii U.

It will probably be the exact same story a year from now ... I can totally see like Yarn Yoshi and maybe a delayed X as the only games for the first half of next year. It's just so Nintendo.
