pezus said: In what world is a Europe+USA vs. Europe+Asia+USA+Rest of the Americas+rest of the world a valid comparison? Xbone sold in more places than USA+Europe... |
So are you saying that this is not a invalid comparison? You do say XBO sold in more places than Europe and NA. I'm kind of confused on what you're saying.
OT: Seriously people? You're using Japan to defend the XBO? That only works when it's sarcasm, like Kresnik.

Wut? Look at his OP again. He's only adding US and European One sales together and comparing them to WW WiiU numbers. One sold more in January 2014 WW than WiiU in 2013, even using NPD data for the US. Even worse, he's using 4 weeks for One in America while using 5 weeks for WiiU in America. One doesn't even need Japan to be ahead, because it is. |
Oh no. Replacing NPD data for US puts the console at 266k for the month.
Second point is correct though.

But how did he get 274k with only NPD and Europe? |
He just failed or something. I don't know.
I just took our monthly numbers and subtracted the 80k or so that we had it overtracked in the states.

The PS4 is doing just fine. |
Of 3 consoles one is doing just fine, one is doing bad and the other one terrible.
Xbones a dud as well? This gen is going to be ugly.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

You said, in your own post, that XBO sold in more places than Europe and US. I hadn't noticed he was using just that in his OP, which is why I was confused. I thought you were trying to disagree with the point that XBO "only" had those two territories.
So, without Japan and according to VGC, Wii U had 117'381 units sold in Jan. 2013. Yup, this is a horrible comparison.

There is only one one... |
Nope, there are two ones. "Of 3 consoles one (PS4) is doing just fine, one (as xbox ONE) is doing bad and the other one terrible.
