First of all In would like to start that the ND wasn't bad, just that it wasn't what it had to be.

  They said they would focus on games releasing this spring, yet they go and show SSB,X and Bayo2. They used those games as filler to make the ND longer seeing as they barely have any games releasing in spring, which is shameful.

   X will most likely release in 2015 seeing as they didn't say it will release this year like they did with Smash and Bayo 2.

   Mario Kart 8 MAY 30th? Seriously Nintendo? Nintendo does not know how to develop games for HD they screwed up big time, now there will be a gap of more than 3 months between DKC:TF and MK8, which is unacceptable. There sales are low as it is so it will only get worse.

  People seem to be happy with this ND, but come on sure little mac and the other trailers are good, but sorry I don't play trailers I play games, and for now there is not gonna be anything of note.

  People though Wii lacked third party support? Pfft look at Wii U now, atleast in 2013 it got some ports even if they weren't exactly great. Wii had unique third party games that defined it, games only(mostly) possible on Wii (Zak and Wiki, Little Kings Story, No More Heroes 1 & 2, Trauma series, the on-rail shooters that worked great on Wii etc).

  Right now Nintendo isn't doing anything to convinne anyone that they should get a Wii U. Sony and Microsoft don't have their own type of ND, yet they somehow seem to get more info to the gamers.

I still am hopeful that X will release in 2014 since they didn't reveal the release dates of many other games too such as Beyonatta 2 and not only X... They also didn't show Hyrule Warriors so... But yea, the wiiU sales will stay down until at least May which is dumb... Unless Cranky pulls something out of his old hairy ass

I guess when Nintendo meant spring releases, they meant Iwata's idea of Spring which is every other season except for spring...

And they might also be waiting for e3 for the major release dates, which is lame but "Please Understand"

I was only disappointed by the lack of dates for Wii U games. Might be a slower year than last.

It was a good Nintendo Direct. And i warn you people, if you keep complaining about them Nintendo will simply stop making these Directs.

For Bayo 2 and SSB they said in 2014, for X they didn't mention anything.

That's from last year at E3, at this ND they didn't mention any dates for it, but they did for SSB and Bayo 2, I'm afraid to admit and I hate to, but it is gonna be 2015, that's a shame.

To sum up the OP, it reminds me of this saying:

Seriously I hate when people do that.

It's going to be a rough stretch until Mario Kart 8. There is very little reason for people who are on the fence to cross over between now and then.
