I own Rayman Legends on Vita and it has online Co-op.

Check for yourself:

Also all I did was give you two platforming games which have online co-op. How is that ignorance? Or maybe you weren't directing it at me :S very hard to understand with how you#ve structured your response.

I think the ignorance comment was directed at me :0

How's the online in Legends? Does your player play exactly like he does offline, or do you miss every single jump as he lags all over the place?

It really depends on who I'm playing with. Sometimes it's laggy as hell, sometimes there's hardly any noticeable lag (similar to the Vita-PS4 remote play).

But that's imposibru!

Off topic but that's my biggest issue with remote play. When it works it works great, but the second it starts to have issues the whole experience breaks apart.

I don't recall if the XB was better or not, probably not - but to be honest due to the frustrating Wii U set up, plus a general lack of interest in Wii U online (nobody to play with), I have not set it up for online yet.

I agree with you regarding the issue of remote play. It's brilliant when its running smoothly but as soon as something happens, it gets all choppy and then you don't know what the heck is going on. It works amazing when I'm at home though (well when I'm in range) so can't really complain about that.

What game on 3DS or Wii U has as much traffic as Halo 2?

Monster Hunter 3U. Even Pokemon lol

I strongly doubt any MH generated more traffic than Halo 2.

It did. Monster Hunter 3 was the most game played ever on Wii

Halo 2 is likely the most played game on the OG Xbox and was released in a time When the console's installed base was much larger than Wii U'a now.

So I still doubt.

Wii U's online is actually just fine. The fact that it doesn't have a dedicated service such as Xbox Live, seems to bother some folks. But otherwise, the notion that Wii U has "bad" online, is a myth.

Wait people want to 'Pay for online?"

Juding by the sheer-mind-numbing number of Sony fans who act as if they're totally okay with being forced to pay for PS+ just to play games they've already bought online, than apparently so. I'm not even a "Sony Fan", but I do own a PS2 and PS3, and I was pissed to find out that you were going to have to pay for online with PS4, especially because Sony snuck that little fact in there, without even saying it in plain English, amidst the "THIS IS HOW AWESOME PS4 IS GONNA BE" presentation they did last E3. I seriously hope NIntendo doesn't ever charge for online, and in fact, they really should advertise the fact that they're the only console with backwards compatibility and free online. Those should be selling points to many potential buyers.

It really depends on who I'm playing with (only really played co-op at work lol). Sometimes it's laggy as hell, sometimes there's hardly any noticeable lag as in my player plays exactly the way that he does offline (similar to the Vita-PS4 remote play).

Why the hell is the vita the only one with online co-op then? Everywhere I look it says the game has ad hoc play and no onlien

Xbox Live was great for a console back then but even if Wii U online isn't really up-to-date to other services nowadays (no clue about that) I can't imagine that it isn't a better service as what original Xbox online service had to offer (pretty much nothing for nowadays standards)

The only thing missing is System wide party chat( WiiU has Wii U chat but you cant do that from in game) and system wide trophies(which are just shit)

The infrastucture on the WiiU is pretty much the same on everything else.

Shit, even Donkey kong and mario let you stream gameplay that you can record as well

I've heard COD and Monster Hunter actually have party chat in-game.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

^System wide So you can do it from any game ( stupid shit imo)

well the service is so horrible, I gave up on it. I play the Wii U but the online is a joke, lets be honest.

I highley doubt you've played Wii U online you'd not have mentioned friend codes.

Stability for massive multiplayer traffic.

So something the 3DS has?

Come on you got better than that dont you?

What game on 3DS or Wii U has as much traffic as Halo 2?

How does game traffic relate to the quality of the online?   I'm certain no Xbox One game or PS4 game has as much traffic as Halo 2 did at peak so does that mean the Xbox had better online than XOne and PS4?

I get the impresion that some of you have never even played a Wii U game online and you're just spouting common ignorance to make points or using arbitrary factors like total number of online players in a game.  You're only making yourselves look bad.
